As we see, this long video doesn’t give him lines to speak, but looking at how articulate he was at speaking at his AGT audition I suspect he would be a natural at acting. His bio says he is a big admirer of fellow Texan George Strait who showed he was a pretty good actor in movies. If film producers cast Drake in a dramatic film I’ll bet he is at least as good as Strait. I hope they cast Drake in a serious dramatic role before long, where it’s not all about honky tonks & drinkin’.

I agree they are great (and I don't even like country music). But these days they don't need signed. They have the platform and leverage to do just fine without a label stepping in and ruining everything. They're already producing better quality videos, better lyrics, and better music than any band signed with a label.

This young man has one of the most teriffic voices, meaningful and delightful songs and is charismatic and good looking enough to capture the King of Country title. I'm not fond of "country" music but if this is what country is supposed to be, I'm a definite fan.

Drake represents what's wrong with the music execs in Nashville...They are afraid of him because he has a Classic Country Sound. He's a lot George Strait, a little Daryle Singeltary and reminds me of an early Dierks Bentley. He has a good personality and stage presence and a pocketful of songs that makes you want to shuffle your feet or slow dance with a pretty girl. I miss that sound on Country Radio. I hear from someone in Nashville he even has a very talented girlfriend. The person didn't tell me who she is, but but he just said, "I like his girlfriend better, I just signed her."
Their loss ! I agree with these peeps who say he has a great band with great songs. I can understand what he says and I like the way he says it. Listen to country my whole life as well as other music get nres -rock,classical and jazz. If it was my call I would’ve signed him up a couple years ago! I’m almost 70 so I know talent when I hear it. Saw him first on AGT. This kid has it all. The look, stage presence, likeable, the voice, great original songs, and a great band. He is the best singer I have seen on AGT in years, and with a great band as well. I think he is the fav to win the final so far. And some big country label will definitely sign him.
I said after his AGT audition that he was gold. It seems he would be bigger by now. Best country since early Garth and George Strait.
