    I believe that at this point there are no more spoilers possible. So I'm going to write here something I heard from a critic about the final scenes: Höss's body is, in some way, trying to expel all that evil that lives in him, whether through severe pain in his stomach, or through coughing and retching. But the evil that is in him is so horrible that the organism cannot expel it.
    And in the final scene he looks at us, near those stairs, and we show Höss the Holocaust Museum and the result of what he helped build (the deaths of more than 6 million human beings). Höss stops, examines himself, and finally realizes that he wants to do exactly that, he is right in what he does, according with his hideous beliefs. Then he goes down the stairs towards the darkness, which is where his soul belongs.

      I love the imaginary of Höss descending down the stairs to hell. I also heard that Höss’s real-life children are Holocaust deniers and doubt that it ever happened in the first place, saying that their dad was the best father in the world. I always found that makes the movie ten times more horrific.

    Mr. Glazer's horrible speech at the Oscars was shameful. Here you have a Jewish man talking about the worst crimes ever committed against the Jewish people - in the 1940s - and making the remarks just a few months after the worst crimes against the Jewish people committed since then - has to make an attack on fellow Jews as he accepts the award....I will pass on this movie~

      Congrats Joy, you missed out on what many consider including Spielberg as the greatest movie about the holocaust. Glazier spoke about OCT 7 he spoke about the 30k dead in Gaza. Glazier did not say Israel should not exist, he spoke out against it as any rational jew should.

      Jonathan did the most admirable thing any Jewish person can do, stand up against the oppression and massacre of innocent people. Zionists use the holocaust purely for their own gain, selfishly and cruely. Holocaust survivors have demanded a ceasefire because they know the horrors truly. Why more people don't listen to them I don't know.

    • @madameversiera
      @madameversiera 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Oh shut up, Glazer didn’t say anything against Jewish people, I listened to the speech, he’s obviously speaking about this horrible situation where many innocent children are dying as well. You people are not human. I have Jewish origins and I don’t support what Israel is doing.

  • @richardthelionheart5594

    Glazer's speech was tone deaf. Maybe he/his producers thot it necessary for the future financial well being of the movie.
    His speech mocked the significance of the Holocaust. "This was bad, now that is bad. It all evens out in the end" Well, that's BS !!!
