    Nebraska let you breathe in the 2nd half and just shut their offense down. It's not that CU defense shut them out. The Nebraska head coach turned off their offense in the second half.

    • @slylockfox85
      @slylockfox85 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      🤡 comment that people keep repeating. Did you see Rhule on the sideline in the 2nd half? Did it look like he was happy with how the offense was going? It did not. Furthermore, Nebraska primarily rant he ball in the first half as well. You're acting like their first half offense was wildly different from the 2nd half offense. It was not. They were run heavy in both halves. Only difference is that the CU defense could not stop them in the first half.
      Can't believe the goofies making this comment. You all say Rhule is a better coach and yet no competent coach is going to "shut down" their offense in the 3rd quarter. This is Nebraska, not Bama.

      actually bad players and athletes usually make for better coaches if im being honest. Talented people are those who become great pros. The problem with innate talent is it doesnt teach you the fine details of the game. When you're average or below average you have to actually LEARN, you have to cerebral, you have to be analytical. This is just the reality. There's exceptions obviously but generally this is the truth in every sport.
      The funny thing is you always have nba players saying nonsense like "if you never played in the nba dont talk about." When in actuality playing in the nba doesnt actually mean you know what your talking about. Not to mention at any level of ball, its really the same concepts more or less.

    The defense was running through the offensive line like they were playing high school kids. Not sure if that's a problem that can be fixed. If the o-line can't protect the QB, then it's hard to move the ball. If they just fix the o-line and do nothing else, they will have a chance against teams. You can't even have a run game without an o-line that can contain the pressure. This was Colorado's biggest problem last year and it still is. Even Tom Brady needed a solid o-line to play because a QB needs enough time for routes to develop. The QB can't keep getting rushed every play. He'll get hurt taking so many sacks. Deion is fine as a coach but it's another year and they have not fixed the o-line problem. And now other opponents are aware of that fact.

    • @WSP_Wrangler
      @WSP_Wrangler 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well they went out and got a whole new unit this year so maybe it’s not the offensive line as much as the QB. At some point u gotta start looking at the QB if he keeps happening. Coaches know u can send 5 to 6 guys at Sanders because he doesn’t know what to do and likes to hold the ball to long. He’s not that good. Not as good as he’s been made out to be, and certainly not a top 5 pick. The Nebraska qb is a top 5 pick. U could see the difference very easily between the two. Nebraska has sucked, kid shows up and now they are good because he’s a good qb. Sanders is mediocre at best.

    Ite not about talent, its about work ethic, dedication, and team unity. You can’t build that when you get an entire knew o line and d line every new season from the portal. Lineman get better once they get experience during season, then come back in winter (January-March) 6am running/ conditioning and weight lifting, spring football camp, then summer camp before the football season starts WITH THE SAME guys that played together last season. Thats how you improve and build team chemistry. Hard to do that with practically a brand new line every year.

Its hard to win a game and protect the quarterback when the defense knows ur jus gonna try n pass the ball on every single play. U have to call run plays consistently to keep the defense on their toes. They know they dont have to defend the run. They can just sit back n pass rush on every play to put pressure on shedeur and cover the receivers down field. Buffs gonna lose alot more games if deion he dont change

    This game is not on Shedeur. It is on the coaches, OL, and DL. Also, WR's dropping balls, linemen missed blocks, and team penalties for no reason. Deion's team needs discipline. They are all about the "swag" and do not do the little things. You do not win games with nodding heads and rhymes. You win games with the consistency of execution focused on the team, not the name on the back of your jersey. So here is an insight to consider: "Bing does not mean a ring, and along the same lines, it could mean a ding in the L column." The bottom line is that this team is underdeveloped and under-coached (that is hard to say because I love Deion!).
