    Superb. Some of this I knew from life experience but it’s funny to see it on a table. I’d never heard of ‘the nibble’ but I smiled when I heard it because I unconsciously prevented a nibble a few days ago. I was in the process of buying some laser cutting/engraving equipment and ended my email by stating that I wanted all the necessary connections/consumables included to start working to be itemised on the pro forma invoice. I’ll be watching for nibbles for ever more😂

    Good stuff. Especially the nibble. Everyone nibbles, especially nowadays. Good to recognize that and have a defense.

    One benefit of opening first is that you can anchor the negotiation at a high price (selling) or low price (buying)
