I'm new to pauper, so I really appreciate you explaining the decks at the beginning of these videos and talking through your decisions/lines each turn. I'm learning a lot!
@@kalikaiz ah, indeed. I am a very chill player but last couple of weeks I've been losing hard and ended up so tilted i decided not to play until christmas end (also holidays not helping.... tbh). So thanks for the great content and keep showcasing nice decks men!
I love this deck and I’ve found your test really interesting. I’ve being thinking that wizard’s rockets is a bit less than ichor and I’m no more shure that this card have a place in this deck just because in the long game is a bad topdeck if you don’t have a way to sacrifice it. Maybe I’d give a second chance to candy trail.
They do have heisen and Weber who both do challenges and a TON of leagues. It's good they have a varied panel I think. The panel as a group is just wayyyyyy too timid
I can agree with that. At times I forget that this game is a business and that any irritation I have comes from the business decisions and not necessarily the individuals who play the game. I don't think it's a good idea to have WotC staff make the banlist decisions though. Similar to how I appreciated that the Judge Academy was a separate entity from WotC I think the best step forward is to have elected members of the public voted into these decision boards. At least that way if the board doesn't or isn't able to make the best decisions for the format we can vote them out at the end of their term. @@kalikaiz
Are you planning to do some kind of "how to play altar tron" video/content? This video already have a lot of alpha in that dorection indeed! But something more straightforward, including Mulligannong, sb and weak cards to cut, common play lines, biggest threads and how to deal with them and so on.
Wouldn't you consider playing krark clan main? Also, I liked when you used pulse of murasa main deck, is it not viable anymore? Could be the 4th or 5th wheater Cheers
It seems like having neither Candy Trail nor Ancient Stirrings limits your one-drops and the ability to dig for land. Combine that with the high CMC clunkiness of Grim Search and you have a recipe for mana screw.
I got Mana screwed in my opening hands not when I started moving. I can understand banking on stirrings but I don't think it is as reliable as people think
@@kiriyamathelama1809 Makes sense, hard control like Gardens is really the one deck whose gameplan just doesn´t work against Combo. Nothing to kill, no pressure to put on the combo deck and no counterspells for disruption.

Aha a man of taste
Wow i would have been so tilted seeing those plays vs UB Terror, he got perfect hand vs you!!! Love the deck, and thanks for the videos :)
Thanks a lot! I try hard to not tilt but when they have the nuts it sure is hard

It's so hard to test the deck because it takes a ton of time. I think minimizing the CMC in the deck is nice and I do like trail
The more I play competitive pauper formats the more I realize that the PFP doesn't actually play all that much pauper.

Agreed. The format is arguably even more broken now. They absolutely made the wrong choices.

Interesting. No moment's peace? Love the conjurers bauble. The list looks so clean.
I just feel like peace isn't really what we want to be doing. Could be wrong

I discussed a lot about that in a patreon-only video if you're interested
Is there a Discord where this deck is being discussed?
Hi yeah the storm discord or the fams discord works. Hop in the fams discord and I'll link you

Hmm maybe kcs is ok main but I would rather not do that specific hedge. You could try it.
I just don't think I have space for pulse at the moment
24:38 we aren’t allowed to criticize the ban unfortunately 😂
Truth
Kinda surprised to see Rowans over Fanatical Offering.
Rowan digs up to 6 cards deep, and the map token doesn't really help me here does it?
@@kalikaiz I was just thinking of the map token as more fodder to sac to dispute and fanatical.
@@xxANBUxx I guess I can see that
@@kalikaizHow does Rowan's go 6 cards deep when you only get to look at the top 4?
@@Mmoll1990 you can pick zero of the top 4! Then you draw 2 blind
