Access Failure: Explaining Climate-Related Migration in the Sahel

This talk examines ostensibly climate-related migration in the Sahel as a case of "access failure". It argues that a lens of access helps reveal the political-economic and institutional production of precarity that enables climate events to push people into crisis.
