You help us save money, shop what we already have, different products to try and the comparisons are so helpful!Drugstore brands are getting so expensive. Some of the brands are more expensive than say Tower 28, Sephora Collection and Saie that you get at Sephora. I love when you bring up older makeup products and definitely eyeshadow palettes! There’s so many really beautiful releases and it can be so hard to resist buying so much makeup and beauty products! I used to be that person and I’m so happy I stopped wasting my hard earned money and took a step back. The last two/three years I’ve been way more realistic with what I purchase. I don’t need everything. I used to waste so much money on makeup and beauty products. I’d end up giving so much away. I remember the 11:11 Colourpop eyeshadow palette, that one is not the same as the ABH Cosmo or the Sugar and Spice but you get more variety, same type of tones and great shimmers ✨ great alternatives! I have always loved your recommendations! I tell you that all the time. It’s been the year of blush and all types of lip products for sure! Liquid, cream, powder, gel you name it someone released it. I’m so glad I didn’t waste my money on the Armani liquid blushes and a lot of the painful lip plumping products! I love the Saie, the Caliray Colourpop and the Elf liquid blushes to name some. I still love the Lawless lippies, Summer Friday’s and drugstore ones. Patrick Ta has had a tough year with his releases this year in my opinion. Not everything but quite of few of the releases didn’t cut it for so many different reasons and people. I knew I was passing on the cream duo highlighters. I have his holiday palette from last year and the highlighter in that palette was awful on my skin. They look so beautiful and I know some people love them but it was gloppy mess for me. I agree the Colourpop super shock eyeshadows, highlighters and blush are so great. I love your Unearthly Cosmetics Resurgence collaboration highlighter duo! You can absolutely use it as a blush, highlighter and eye topper! I also get sucked in because I just like testing stuff and trying new things 😭 I did get the covergirl foundation and I can tell you, you didn’t miss anything. I also have oily skin and so I thought this formula would be lighter and feel like more of a gel or water texture. It just feels like a regular foundation sitting on your skin 🤷🏻♀️ I wanted something that truly felt lightweight. Anyways, as far as what I managed to avoid, I was dead set on getting the makeup forever hydra glow foundation during Black Friday but I decided to check my drawer and fell back in love with the Sephora best skin ever foundation so I skipped the hydra glow.

I would love to gift you the Natasha Denona Sunset Eyeshadow Palette it's still in the cardboard box. I can only wear cool tones and I know it will be loved in your collection. I’d love to see your review on the Wicked widow palette called tales of Terror a haunting palette. I ordered it and I’d love to see the color combinations you come up with! I’ve never tried this brand before. I skipped the Patrick ta eyeshadow duos , I found out the flower beauty desert lights and jungle lights is a dupe for it and I already have those in my collection!
I had the same thoughts about the ABH sugar and spice palette until I wore them. The formulation is great and the shimmer formula is more sparkly. I was able to catch the ABH TikTok sale and got both for 34 dollars.
To me the ABH sugar palette is pretty much a mini of the cosmos, it looks so alike. I have Cosmos and also skipped the sugar palette despite how attractive it looked. I have to admit I do like the Armani blushes, but I agree the Saie ones are super similar and cheaper with both being pretty sheer and blendable compared to the pigmented ones like rare beauty and the elf ones
I am glad I skipped on the Armani cheek tints. I have so many liquid blushes I love already. Rare beauty, ELF and Hudas already fill a whole drawer. I love and use those. I am glad that I did not purchase the Huda beauty Icey Nude palette. I have the ND I need a nude and Cold Moon from ER. I feel like that is close enough for me, I go back and forth but honestly I am not going to wear those chunky glitters ever. I am also happy I skipped on everything Patrick Ta released this year. The highlighters were a NO because the cream was so inconsistent, I have Melt, Pat McCrath and even a Sephora brand that I love. His foundation looked like a dry skin girls dream but even dry I do not want to be shiny. My Fenty Soft lit foundation is literally my absolute favorite foundation ever!!
I almost bought the Colourpop Twilight and Pokémon palettes, but I realized that the color stories weren’t actually that exciting for me, I just wanted something from Twilight and Pokémon collabs! instead I got a couple lip products, which I’ve been using much more than I would’ve used the palettes 😊
hi so we both have oily skin and i adore my huda beauty powder in the shade cupcake. in was debating about getting the one size but wondering how they compare to each other and then which shade would be the prettiest for my fair cool skin tone? also, have u tried the lunar beauty powder? if so, what are your thoughts on that?
