Thanks for this. Just transformed it from bot to vehicle for the first time. With so much paper-thin plastic on sticky joints, it felt more like an ordeal than play. Nailed the cookie cutter cartoon look spot-on. Now, can we make MPs fun again?
MP Hound is such a beautiful design. I really wanted to get him but heard about how he cracks and falls apart. They really need to re-release him, with the same design but with better plastic.

Hey, just wanted to say thank you for this video. I just got mine in today and the instructions were just really difficult to follow along, so having a good transformation video like this was a huge help.
Thank god for this video. I come back to this every time I transform Hound. So scared I’m going to break the shoulders when they’re suppose to “pheump” over that little plastic piece.

I’ve had this thing for almost two years and just got around to transforming it. I was dreading it to be quite honest. I got through it thanks to you E. I appreciate all you do for the community. Toon accuracy has ruined the MP line in a lot of ways. Overly complex transformations to achieve the bland look of the comic has caused the prices to shoot up because of all the extra engineering needed. MP’s use to be fun and pretty. Now they’re just pretty.

The MOST DIFFICULT MP Transformer to this day. I had to watch Emgo's vid just now. To see where the the Figures head goes when changing back to vehicle. Just unbelievable

No matter how many times I watch this or read the instructions, I still can’t figure out how the feet become anything in vehicle mode. That part of the transformation absolutely crushes my mood
I love this figure somehow I ended up with the worst instruction sheet ever. usually the pictures help and I don't need to read Japanese . Not this time. Thank You Emgo you helped solve my problem.

I've transformed the KO MP-47 from Jeep to robut multiple times, and I much prefer the matte look of the ko to the official, but this last time of transforming from robut to Jeep really had me stumped. I'm very glad videos like this exist. The friggin arms were giving me all kinds of trouble.

I'm still struggling with the shoulders, the green piece the arm is attached to won't go right round and touch the torso. I can't figure out if it's just stiff or if I'm going to break it. Anyone know?
I need help with the shoulders too. The video just clicked them in... I can't get mine to do that. And I don't wanna break it. How do you click in the shoulders?

@@Weyoun6 I actually got it in the end. It feels like you're going to force and break the figure but they just click into place. Probably just needs a nit of extra force when the fig is still new.

No. Sadly, the MP-47 was made with defective plastic. It’s very fragile. Many people said that when they ordered the figure, it already had plastic crumbs in the box. It deteriorates on it’s own. A lot of the parts with screws and pins naturally start to crack and fall apart. I almost never buy KOs but this is one of the few cases in which the KO is better since it’s made with better plastic. Takara needs to reissue this figure but with better plastic.
How big is this thing compared to a deluxe or a Voyager class toy?
Its a little bigger and heavier than a typical voyager

I've been saying over and over again that it's fine, ignore all the people talking about the weak plastic/breakage issues; I've even transformed him perfectly back and forth five or six times! Then today, in the space of three minutes, I broke the hologram gun (completely my fault) but while transforming him, the hole where you peg the fake "tire" in robot mode - that thin, thin plastic around the hole cracked and broke while I was unpegging the tire to transform him into alt mode. Damn it, damn it, damn it. Now all my jibber jabber about how it's just fine, just be gentle, blah blah whatever is all for crap! GO TAKARA! :(
