That Ganzo is very tempting. I started my knife addiction with Ganzos. I'm glad I can buy their knives now without feeling guilty. (If you know, you know, what I mean...)

Just got that Ganzo. Bought it right after theknifebeater video last weekend. I think I’ll drill out the liners but otherwise it is a great affordable knife. Gonna have to get myself that Cougar in a wharncliffe.

Thanks for reminding me about Ganzo. There are so many brands these days that I forget to look back at the one that started it all for me. Because of your video, I got the Ganzo G768, and I really like it. I'm a sucker for a clip point with a crossbar lock, so it was a no brainer for me.

@stassa23 I bought the nedfoss cougar knife with the warncliff blade and I returned it today because the button stick was so bad I could barely get it to open and on the blade where the bearings go there was black rust all inside of it that I couldn’t get off. If I decide to buy this knife again i hope it doesn’t have all the problems like the first one did
Damn that sucks I would have definitely returned it to. So far mine is good but I’ll definitely be watching out for the rust. I’m sure they are using a cheap stainless steel. I’ll probably coat mine with some wicked wax to try and prevent mine from rusting thanks for the heads up 👌🍻🍻
@@Stassa23 I took pictures of the knife with the rust issue but I can’t upload them on this chat for some reason
Mine came with bad button stick, but no rust. I fixed the button stick by flinging the knife open really hard a bunch of times so the vibrations cause the plunger go all the way in so it, that way it would scrape out leftover burs when I pressed the button. I did this about 10 times and now my Cougar has zero button stick and functions as smooth as butter. The button is even smoother than my sencut Sacshe, which still has button stick even though I bought it over a year ago and used it a bunch.
I am a bit chocked by the copy of the night shade !! ^^

That fintiso is sweet
I got a blue PF elcamino and with just a littls stropping it is the sharpest knife in my collection
Kizer Mini Grouper performs very well at slicing just like my Paramilitary 2
That Shanzu is a wharncliffe. I'm wary about that company. They put out the Peafowl and I read somewhere that the steel on that knife tested as something different from what they said it was. Sketch.

That fintiso looks a lot like the vosteed knife, I think the nightshade or something like that.
Yeah it resembles the Vosteed Nightshade and the Spyderco Lum and there is also one from one of the Italian companies 👍🍻🍻

I just remove any trouble spots on my grinder, I will remove it before I try to make it grippy. I don’t like jimping other than maybe my edc fixed blades

Does anyone actually use a lanyard to carry their knives? Why does every knife have one?
I use it to pull the knife out of my pocket easier
I second the convenience when pulling it out of my pocket. Especially for deep carry on a thin knife. I usually will grab the lanyard with my pinky and ring finger, grip the knife with my middle finger and thumb then use my index finger to flip open the knife. It can also improve comfort for a short handle. And some people like to add bling to it.
Only use lanyards on my fixed blades, never saw the need for one on a folder
