Loved this intro little alloy is adorable and the background score is nice .
I love all the fake 4k comments from people who almost certainly don't have 4k gaming PC's themselves and have no understanding of how checker boarding on the pro works. I recommend digital foundries video explaining how it works and the fact that it gives an almost perfect 4k image at most 10% less detailed than native 4k which would be impossible to notice any difference. Do a bit of research before attacking things with no clue.

Yes there is "fake 4k" meaning the original native resolution of the game or assets are not 4k but are artificially upscaled to display at 4k my other means. 1080-1440p is the resolution of Horizon and that is a fact. If you say Horizon is 4k because it displays at 4k then EVERY XBOX ONE running on the S is a 4k game right? Yeah, didn't think so...
Yeah, you can't notice if you step back a bit right like Digital Foundry said? Ridiculous... where was this non-sense damage control from Digital Foundry when it was the Xbox One 720-900p games the ones upscaled to 1080p? Remember the Quantum Break 720 checker boarding to 1080p? Was it reported as a 1080p game by Digital Foundry? No it was not... for some reason upscale and checker boarding technology is "indistinguishable" from the real thing when it suits the pro-Sony agenda. And yes, I have an ASUS GTX1080 Strix desktop so I know what real 4k is, not this checkerboarding nonsense that media journalists want to shovel down everybody's throat. I just prefer to play on consoles for convenience.
In control studies people weren't able to tell the difference between 720-900p games at the Xbox One/PS4 launch (ask IGN which said Call of Duty Ghost on PS4 looked a lot better because it was 1080p BEFORE it had received the patch to make it 1080p - that's the Placebo effect for you). That didn't stop DF to discredit every sub 1080p game before. How convenient that now when there's a lot more pixels missing (from 1080 to 4k) they can't see the difference. Hmmmm... you forgot that for DF upscale is only alright when it's done by Sony. Journalists these days...
Do you think checker boarding is a rendering technique invented by Sony for the Pro? My god... Quantum Break, like countless other games before, had checker boarding to reach 1080p yet it was ridiculed by DF for its 720p assets. Checker boarding IS NOT NEW NOR WAS INVENTED BY SONY FOR THE PRO. Got it? Ok.
Just completed the game, the gameplay story all were so amazing one of the best games I've ever played :') can't wait for part 2

This game looks amazing. I don't understand why ppl are so blown away by Zelda and it's cel-shaded graphics. Herizon Dawn Zero is truly next-gen and hopefully a franchise in the making. Zelda will always be a classic franchise series but I'm excited to play this game more than BOTW.
Anthony Carter Shouldn't you judge the game based on its mechanics? The fact that one is photorealistic and the other is cel-shaded says nothing about the quality of the games and doesn't give you any way to decide which one is better
my FFX custom textures look more next gen and you can guess how hard it is to make such an old game look next gen

Lets be honest 900p 30 fps isn't exactly bragging is it lol not that it matters for a game like Zelda. But it is funny how all the fans were saying it was 1080p 60 with no proof but now we know suddenly 900p 30 is totally fine and dandy. talk about moving the acceptable line to suit your needs.

wtf you atlking about? Zelda is 900p / 720p 30 fps. And the patch is only for PS4 Pro, and its not confirmed to be 60 fps.
1080p to 900p is not that of a leap. And yeah, every one were thinking it would be 60 fps, but it wasnt. Probably could be at 60 fps if it was developed for the switch from the start tho.
Very interesting beginning. I find Aloy a very believable character. Looking forward to the game.

1:47-2:13 This line and all the visuals have such a deeper meaning now for people who’ve played through the game. They were left with the world given to them by Elizabeth Sobeck, and everyone else who was involved in Zero Dawn. They helped build this world, if anything, they were practically the gods they named Gaia’s subordinate functions after.
Plus, I really love how Gaia made the machines resemble all the animals that are extinct (or were gonna become extinct thanks to the Faro Robots), as it makes the machines feel alive and apart of this world just like any other organic animal.

So I watched this than drove to game stop and preordered. Hahaha
Her reaction with the hologram was gorgeous. The little "Hi" she did in response was just so sweet, it really did look like she was just discovering something for the first time and looked totally believable. I admit that Aloy didn't appeal to me too much as an adult, because I felt she was a bit flat and her voice actress sounded too similar to her Chloe voice from Life is Strange, but seeing her as a child makes a complete difference and it's done it's job, because I'm now growing attatched to her. This game is going to make me go all mushy at bits, I can see it.

facial animations for the girl are amazing.
Audio could use a little polishing in places, in particular from around 6:45. Voice and bird chirps are remarkably high compared to any sound of twigs, footsteps or leaves, and even during the fall, we only hear generic falling sounds - not sounds of the environment such. At around 7:20 we see it again with no sounds of water in spite of rocks falling from the ceiling and her standing in it.
It's probably a small thing in the grand scope of the game, but considering this is part of the opening cinematic as well as being some of the first real footage I've seen of the game, it's rather jarring.
Graphics and animations are really well done. I was honestly shocked at the at the amount of details in places, such as the hair and even just the moss at 9:35

I mean lets face it, the only Reason people buy Consoles are exclusives, and Sonys biggest income is the PlayStation and they need exclusives. I mean Consoles have a Handfull of great Games, but we Pc have a Bag of great Games. At the end having a Pc and Ps4 is the best solution and combination.

I'm here because while playing this game I pressed X when leaving the cave thinking I needed to climb and ended up skipping the cut scene lol.
only thing is that I how The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild just drop you in the world and you beginning playing but other than that both Horizon Dawn Zero and The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild look amazing
And yet I'm still playing Bloodborne which I bought for 19CAD. Thank goodness being late for these gems help my wallet so much.
