In this video I'm making leather apron.
For this project the thickness of leather will depend on the use of the apron, however I recommend soft leather for comfort. In this video main part of pattern I'm making from chrome tanned leather 1mm/2.5oz.
Tools and hardware for full version of apron:
Cutter, hole punch size 1.5mm, thread and 2 needles, 2 buckles 25mm / 1", 4 Eyelets 10 mm,
5 swivel snap hooks 25mm / 1" and 51 rivets. Optional 1/2" copper caps- 4pcs.

Hi.
It depends from your preferences.
I make pockets from 1mm vegetable leather and rest of pieces from 2mm vegetable leather.
