We find plastics and garbage well below 3000m with our ROV all around the globe. It is like humanity is happily sitting in the bathtub enjoying itself while taking a dump at the same time. From a SAR and boating point of view same story. Their parents need to be held accountable for their part in not raising their children properly and for not teaching them right from wrong. Our oceans need to be protected at all costs. Who knows what animal is going to smell this and eat it? 🙈🤬

They should have the boat impounded... and the captain should face charges... What happens on the boat... is always the Captains fault...
I find it amazing that nobody on the boat knew what was going on!
Biden left 50 billion dollars worth of stuff in Afghanistan.
they are all lying
The media continues to cover for the little rich boys by refusing to name them.
Parents Must be Proud.. No Moral Compass .. Parents Must of Patronized and Cuddled these kids , Never Saying No.. Never wanting to hurt their Fragile Feelings
No charges for underage drinking or DUI? Mostly minors…dumping booze cans. They’ve definitely been drinking.
They better not just get a slap on the wrist. This was sheer arrogance.
Why what u gonna do if they do?
Excellent, excellent. Also charge the boat driver with felony charges. Arrest and put in jail.
Do you really think it would have made a difference if they knew they were on video? I doubt it. As for the knowing, I saw how he mugged for the camera right after the dastardly deed. Like he was proud of what he did. A contemptuous attitude toward everyone.
Exactly. This is what they believe tho. “Don’t get caught” from the media itself!
These kids are going to make great politicians.
@@achanneledname what gave it away, the boat?
Already members of the Trump Yacht Club !
@achanneledname "privileged" lmfao
@@waltsnow1762you people and your trump obsession lol
@waltsnow1762 .. well Boca is a dem hive and they moved here not long ago from NY .. so maybe you'd like to reconsider your ignorant statement .. it's better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubts
I still struggle to believe that people like this actually exist in the world. Just........why?
That teen denying it all. LOL The whole purpose of the boat run was to dump the trash to hide the underage drinking evidence. Everyone on the boat knew that.
Excellent, excellent. Also charge the boat driver with felony charges. Arrest and put in jail.
Guy said “they are paying the price for being on video”…. No, they are paying the price for their actions!
And who owned or rented the boat? Since when are minors allowed to be in possession of a boat this size?
And to be drinking. No one has talked about where they got the alcohol from.
Different rules for boat I got certified at 12 for boat safety and operation in my state.
Probably belongs to the parents of one of them.
The parents should be charged for their son's criminal acts, too.
They knew they were on video. They were posing for the drone.
Exactly, the way they were posing for the drone looked like they knew daddy will get them out of trouble.... again
Right. That man needs to go to Wavy Boats and watch the video.
@@AFloridaSon - Why would you even do that knowing that Wavy Boats is there daily with a drone?.....or is that why they did it?
🤔
@@christopherweise438 Excellent, excellent. Also charge the boat driver with felony charges. Arrest and put in jail.
@@christopherweise438 IDK. They obviously didn't care that they were being filmed. The can dumper even acted like he was proud.
The irony of teenagers, who record & share everything on social media, apparently forgetting that just about everything done in public in recorded & shared on social media... Not the sharpest knives.
It took more effort to dump trash out there than to just dump it in the dumpster. I wouldn't call that disregard
EXACTLY! This doesn't make sense
It doesn't make sense but they've done it before & they know how to get rid of the Evidence.
underage drinking. they did it to avoid getting busted for that + bwi. oops!
And why would anyone need two big ass trash cans in that small boat!!! Even if they were drinking underage a cooler would have been enough for the amount of people on that boat. 😮
Daddy took his boat back and gave them his attorney. The guy “in front” of the boat knew exactly why he went out there.
Yes, turns out he had to get rid of all the alcohol containers that he and his teenage boatmates had emptied.
$50,000 fine for EACH trash can for EACH person, THEN a minimum of 2 years in jail.
Prison is extremely expensive and destructive.
Yes to the fines and 2 years every weekend on clean up duty for beach and harbor.
@@OutWestRedDirt Community service on the beach, You have to be kidding right? No, lock them up Prisons are effective. And they need that to be on their record.
Prison is stupid. It ain't gonna fixed anything here. You're literally asking for a higher sentence than what some rapist got. They should just get 2000 hours of community service of cleaning beaches and rivers.
@@TideasOfficial Community service is never going to punish them, there is no enforcement, his wealthy family will just get it to go away, he will hang out at the beach drinking with his friends and call it community service. Actions have consequences, and they knew they were being filmed and flexed for the cameras. They never regretted it and never will unless they have to face real punishment. The fact you think they should work on the beach is hilarious. They need to be trespassed from the ocean and beaches as well as the waterways they polluted for 5 years minimum.
Get a grip on reality
What on earth are they thinking? No appreciation for the ocean.
DISGUSTING
Obviously didn't learn anything in school either.. let alone from their parents..
I hope the Captain of the boat was also charged, because it's obvious they left & returned... His boat and license should be Revoked!
The entitlement is so gross. To think ppl do this all the time makes me so mad
"Turned themselves in" No, Daddy saw his boat on social media and raised hell.
Who gives a damn let it go loser
Impound the boat for 6 years, take the thier operator and driving license for 3 years, fine everyone on board 10,000$, drug and alcohol classes for 4 years, 5000hrs of beach clean up, 150,000 fines paid to wild life conservation, and finally a live verbal nation wide apology on CBS news.
That’s a complete waste of tax payer’s dollars. More waste will be done handling it that way.
Everyone on that boat should be charged
If your driving in a car with some friends and a couple kids throw garbage out of the car do you think you should be charged?
No, people who do crimes should be charged and people who are bystanders shouldn't.
This is America, guilt by association isn't a crime.
While 'radicals' who assault people in antifa & BLM RIOTS are NOT CHARGED
Excellent, excellent. Also charge the boat driver with felony charges. Arrest and put in jail.
Person at the front of the boat not knowing what was going on . . . . What did you THINK they were going to do with two garbage cans of trash?
Come on, daddy gonna pay that fine. Nobody’s going to jail.
I'm an engineer onboard an oceanic research vessel and voluntary SAR Member. Seeing these guys just dumping heap of plastics into the water just left me speechless and outraged. We find plastics and garbage well below 3000m with our ROV all around the globe. It is like humanity is happily sitting in the bathtub enjoying itself while taking a dump at the same time.
From a SAR and boating point of view same story. These guys should not be allowed operating boats.
- nobody wore lifevests and I highly doubt, that in a capsizing event everybody would have made it home
- you never!!! leave the helm while driving (you can see the guy stumble at some point in the back of the boat)
and much more
Daddy will pay a fine and they will do community service. After about two days of service, Daddy will pay off the service and it will be business as usual.
Or pay someone to go in their place
Yesterday the parents of one of the boys made a statement of...get ready....*This is not who we are*. Blech.
They should be sent to prison for 5 years, it is necessary to send a strong message to others who try to do the same, parents should also pay jail time for the poor education and upbringing of their children.
“Teachable moment” means “go easy on them” despite how egregious this is. What they’ll learn is that having money gets you out of anything.
Their parents need to be held accountable for their part in not raising their children properly and for not teaching them right from wrong. Our oceans need to be protected at all costs. Who knows what animal is going to smell this and eat it? 🙈🤬
Give them tougher sentences. Who knows if what is happening in the keys is because of something like this! Some jackass tossing toxic stuff in the waters..
I see 4 to 5 people in the boat. All should be charged as they were there and knew about.
Judge, please make a statement with the sentence.
Money cannot buy good sense, but it will help these idiots get through this act of careless stupidity.
“This is a teaching moment for all those involved.”
If they are in a boat as decked out as that one, Mommy and Daddy probably regard 50K as being pocket change. Even $50K may not even pay for the damage they did. I hope there's a clause in the law that allows confiscation of their boat as well.
Slap on the wrist. Should be a fined and jail time.
Teachable moment. Fineable moment. Community service moment.
I've never taught my kids not to dump trash in the lake or the ocean...it's just common sense which I guess those kids are lacking...
"apparently dumping bins of garbage" that's ABC news for ya.
2 rich kids who will never see any time
Nor should they, it's a littering charge.
Nobody should see time for littering, you should get a fine and at worse some community service.
They are all complicit. The whole run was to dump trash
40 hrs a week for a year of community service cleaning up the beaches & $5000 fines each.
Do not charge them with a felony this should be a misdemeanor that's just stupid but have them spend a year or two cleaning up the beaches.
It should be a felony with additional charges. They went out purposely to dump their empty alcohol containers, and the oldest person was the boat driver at age 16.
“They’re paying the price for being on video…” Lesson learned, make sure no drones are around next time you dump trash into the ocean.
