In this case I totally agree, but what about the vindictive girlfriend scenario? Guy A and a girl B hookup, it was consensual both enjoyed it and start dating. Two weeks later guy A hooks up with girl C, and girl B finds out, then goes to police and claims rape by guy A. I sympathize with all victims of rape, but regrettably this scenario must be examined also.
That is why it must be thoroughly investigated, unless the girl B is a minor then it is a crime consenting or not.

The memo was basically when noah was kidnapped and dodds basically was trying to boot olivia out ((never was clairified if good intentions or not))but fin somehow got a hold of it and let dodds know he did and he always will have olivia back.

Benji12586 thing is it wasn’t the questions that tipped him off. He wanted him to say out loud that niki would get killed. Everyone knows “no niki no case” means he’d have her killed but he needed to hear him say it so it couldn’t be disputed

@@salenebrom6476 after Noah was kidnapped Finn found something "which we now know is the memo" how? we don't know. But the memo basically stated that he Olivia either was not coming back from that incident and Dodds was looking for a replacement basically.
@@salenebrom6476 I agree, was there a memo sent down from above to Dodds and then he typed up his own memo, or did this memo originate with Dodds and it had to do with all the departments? I am assuming it went something like this, "There must be a strict adherence to police procedure or termination will result". This was pretty much aimed at Benson considering her involvement in Noah's kidnapping and the "Zero Tolerance" episodes.
Did anybody think this episode should have been maybe a two or three part episode? With a $50 million lawsuit and some major players involved, I thought 2/3 of the way through it maybe a two parter.
Wolves actually take care of their own when they’re attacked. As a man who loves wolves, hearing Miller say this pissed me off.
Miller messed with the wrong cop. Olivia always get her man.

She accused and arrested Stone for rape, even though both were so incoherent and Benson knew that (in "Mea Culpa"). She has a hair-trigger when it comes to arresting people.

@@JavierRodriguez17565 Did you watch "Mea Culpa"? The so-called rape happen 10 years ago and both admitted they were extremely drunk and the victim's memory was sketchy at best. No grand jury in the world would support a charge of rape.

Rob Miller is another one of the big top serial bad guys in Law and Order:SVU along with Darius Parker(Finn's nephew and stepson), William Lewis, Gregory Yates, Carl Rudnick, and Gary Munson
And Darius is the only one of them that managed to get the best of SVU

He plays such a good bad guy. Lost, sons of anarchy, now this. He also is sooo amazing as Bosch. He is one of my faves.
I've heard the whole spiel about Wolves, Lions and the strong survive and the weak die.
Problem is, we're human, and we adapt. When you're hunted for long enough people can get smart, the biggest mistake they make is giving people enough experience on how to kill a wolf.
My guess about this memo that has twice now been referenced, either Dodds was threatening to relieve Benson of duty for one reason or another, or he was attacking the entire SVU department as a whole. That was before a couple of cases though that showed Dodds the value of both Benson and SVU generally to Dodds and other top brass. I think this show is building to something with the memo though. I can't help but think Olivia might end up getting promoted to Captain, and Dodds may end up leaving his position for one reason or another. I've suspected that is where the show will go eventually.
It's obvious, it's about Benson's leadership ability or her out of control actions (I.E. "Zero Tolerance"). I just wonder if the memo came from above or if it's a mandate by Dodds that all departments have to adhere to strict police standards and no outrageous actions will be tolerated. Since Dodds wore the wire , I'm thinking he has her back.
Actually promoting her to captain may be the shows saving grace. It would allow them to lessen her involvement in every episode and see if rhe others can carry the show without just writing her off
@@justcallmejess7294 I thought the memo had to do something with maybe having Fin promoted, because Dodds talked to him about passing his seargent's exam at one time, I think?
Ima watch this after I come back home from hazmat school tomorrow evening. I hope it's good because this season has been very hit or miss for me.
This was a good one. And yes this was a hit or miss season for sure. This one took me back to the days of Stabler and Benson.

This case was too easy to figure out. I knew it was Miller from the very beginning. When he was introduced to Benson and Rollins, I automatically knew it was him. Good episode tho. Season 20 has been amazing.

Well we know what happened to Miller in the season finale but with court cases getting overturned, u know it's just a matter of time when Miller gets out of prison for the set-up that the former DA did to him. Just an matter of time.
Batman "I lost innocence in that alley, some mugger shot my parents right in front of me for some cash and pearls. I barely smiled after it, even if I can't save everyone, I'll spend the rest of my life making sure I can save as many people from what happened to me." The difference between the hero and the villain they go through similar trauma, the hero tries to make sure that doesn't happen to others, the villain doesn't make that choice.

Salene Brom, That he was going to interview other people for Liv's position. That's what was on the memo, that's it.
This episode was so good and I’m ready for the next and I’m wondering what the memo was. Maybe someone is going after her bringing up people from her past she was close with, maybe someone is accusing her of something? Who knows?
What was the memo about anyway. This was a good episode too because Lt. Benson always win. I'm trying remember or figure out what that memo was about though.
I kind of thinking Fin knows what is it about. There was an episode where he showed a paper to Dodd like "advertising" him that it could be used. I think that was an episode about Noah kidnapping. I'm not sure.

- Yeah, Fin got wind of the memo, made a copy...he did not reveal his 'source' last I heard. Fin showed it to Dodds, who got the message loud and clear. Wasn't anything threatening...just Fin's way of showing he's got Olivia's back in the department and always will.
No I hope the Memo has nothing to do with Olivia. Tired of her always being the damn story. Not everyone enjoys that. This was a good episode base on just the victim.

I feel bad for what Miller sister must've went through in the past
I’d rather be the lamb than a wolf. Because sheep are incredibly smart and more sociable and are dependable for one another. Plus, sometimes, sheep can be more dangerous when they’re in a large flock.
The problem with this thing is he actually didn't even implicate himself in some real life all of them would be out of a job after an investigation which is done into this. And he would have a lot of money suing those various departments. And probably get the TV deal out of it.

As soon as I learned Titus Welliver is the actor portraying "Bosch" on the Amazon series I went right into binge watch mode.
That guy's father was a coward.

Some wolves rule their pack trough aggression, fear and paranoia in the end they will be slain by their own pack, some wolves rule with respect and decency and that respect will be returned by it is pack and when it's time comes it stand's down and let a new generation lead the pack. What I want to say being wolf is not the same as being scumbag.

I really don't understand the appeal of under age for sexual interaction. There are plenty of women or men out there who are sexually open. So what causes that? Is it just about control over a "weaker" person? I don't know but it's never acceptable which is why I'm really glad that even in the church environment which is supposed to be safe .. is being unraveled.

Someome mentioned her getting promoted to Captain. Which would be a smart move. Less screen time without losing the SVU "face" to see if others coukd carry the show

I also feel like mariska hargatay has been going this for so long, she lost her touch. She sounds so bored when she says 90% of her lines.
