    1 sliced banana

    1 cup of watermelon cubes
2 Tablespoons of honey to taste.
    Blend until smooth

Soak two headbands and/or two sarongs in ice water before putting it on, and alternate them all day. A cold cloth around the back of your neck plus the pulse points mentioned is a sweet relief. Also a swamp cooler uses the same amount of electricity as a light bulb (My electrician friend told me...) so after the initial purchase, the expense of it remains much lower than an AC. Also, more long term; paint your roof white - there's special paint for this at hardware stores. And if you can afford it, your insulate your walls and especially your attic even more, you will feel the difference. And lastly, plant trees around your house - the difference over time is amazing.

I used insulation foam which you can buy at any hardware store! Cut the foam to the size of the window and I also put blockout fabric which can be purchased at any fabric store! The panel looks like curtain from the street view! The west facing windows get so much sun and the foam really helps keep the room cool! It really makes a huge difference in keeping rooms cool from west facing windows! If I want to see out from that window I just remove the panel! You can dress up the panel and put some cool posters on it too!

It will help. Can also cut the bottom of the bottle off and put holes In 1/3 of the bottle(about to the bottom of the bottles label)and add ice cubes as needed . Be sure the bottles are secure of you will have a heck of a mess to deal with. Hope it helps✌🏻

I had already tried the trick of keeping the windows closed during the day, but unfortunately the buildings where I live were just too well insulated for it to work with too little wind during night. I ended up sweltering. However, living now in a country that generally doesn't use A/C and also having lived in the US that generally overuses A/C, I prefer it here though there can be days (and nights!) where I really miss the option. But I look forward to trying the frozen bottles in front of the fan.

I swear the moment I walk upstairs in my home it rises by 5 degrees at most. It's gonna be 109 throughout this whole week...

Same, back when I used to live in London my house had two floors and the top one was always hotter. It's because hotter air rises. This is why I always used to try and ready up for school upstairs during the winter months whenever I could. It got really cold on the bottom floor.
