It's hard to say this, as I love my GMs, but the Hemi GTX was the sweetest in this lineup, IMHO.
i had a '67 gtx b5 blue 440 automatic that came with a dana rear believe it or not.
67 Fairlane 427 missing from this list, buy cool video, thx for sharing.
Yeah and the Volkswagon Karmann Ghia
Or the LTD or Galaxie 500 with factory optioned 427 (R) side oiler riding upon a 119" wheelbase that was only 3" longer than GTO.
The 427 Yenko does not count because it was not a factory option, add to that the wheel hop nightmares because of the one rear leaf spring problems.
Yay another Pd evolution video
You skipped over the 427 435 hp Corvette and the 427 Shelby Cobra.
Yenko? You were doing ok till you got to number 1. Let all the dealer built hot rods have their own list, and not just the handful of Chevrolet dealer cars that always seem to get mentioned, but all the makes. Those cars are nothing more than foot notes in the muscle car era.
The Yenko was not a factory car !
If it was, then so were Mr. Norm's supercharged mopars.
Thank you 👏
Yep, it don't count.
What happened to the 1967 Oldsmobile W-30 equipped 4-4-2?
The 428 in the GT500 made 355 hp at 3,000 rpm. That engine was at least 400, probably more
Awesome content
the buick is nice
well done...yenko was a copo with factory warranty. copo = central office production order ok'd by gm. don yenko chevrolet dropped in the 427 crate motors.
The term "Musclecar" didn't even exist before 1968, and the car that stated it ALL was the '68 Roadrunner, first car ever to coin the phrase, do some research, why I have owned one 41 years in the UK. Centre consoles, floor lighting, daft plastic spoilers etc do not cut it, taxi cab interiors, drums brakes, high hp engine for the time.
Ford all the way. The GT 500 even standing still, looked as if it was running over 100 MPH
Was the yenko super Camaro faster that the ‘67 corvette equipped with the L-88 427 cubic inch engine?
Probably not because Camaro had wheel hop issues.
Interesting. I expected the Olds 4-4-2 to be #9 or #8
WOW a super TURBINE transmission! Who does the research?
😆
The Fastback barracudas kind of nice
Yenko is pretty much the same as the Copo central office production order kind of a factory car
Buick's ❤
Shelby and yenko not factory.i had a 69 nova 396...375.h.p..that I drag raced ..I beet every car you've got listed on here...
Many cars are missing, and the Yenko is not a factory car like the rest of your list.
Oh man I had a Buick skylark GS convertible it was white body and top with red interior and it had fender skirts
No GS had skirts in 67. Skylark became its own model after 1966.
@@thomasthurston6656 the buyer before me had them add that is why I said it had skirts
@markwagner4909 All the trim is different from the Skylark. The GS came with full wheel well moldings. It was an option on Special and Special Deluxe. I have a 67 Special Deluxe bought new by my great-grandparents. I have been with the BCA in CALIFORNIA SoCal for over 20 years.
@@markwagner4909 A Skylark with fender skirts? Ugly!
Dodge and Chrysler Products looked boxy with no styling. You could be the fastest car on the road but real ugly doing it.
