I have always liked that cover, I think it would make a great addition to cover battle. Is it just me or did older comics take longer to read? I think they had more dialog or maybe it was the narration?
@@CaptainFrugalReviews personally I think the amount of dialogue remained more or less consistent as far as my limited knowledge about American comics goes. But the ones that I read from the 60's to let's say late 80's, begin 90's did have more narration to get people more invested into the story and into the characters train of thought , motives (Dream Theater reference for those of you who listen to prog). And the way the stories like this were structured. It required a little more immersion and made you think a little bit more. Which explains why they took longer to read. Because your brain needs more time to progress what is happening on the pages. Something I kind of miss with the current batch of American comics. But those are my two cents. So don't take this as an expert opinion
@@CaptainFrugalReviews Captain I agree with you and SPORE H , , some of the earlier pictography with the less amount of spoken dialogue then allowed you the examine the panel artwork more deeply allowing your mind to connect point A to point B then to C and ect, , , everything is in such a hyper hurry in today's modern hero entertainment , , agendas added in for good measure plus political nonsense tossed in because creators can't simply calmly entertain anymore 😥🧐😢🤔🤔🤔
This story's cover caption did have it right, after all, this was sure to become a classic. Ah, you beat me to it - the Fiddler's Fiddler Car is something. I don't remember seeing that in the Batman: The Brave and the Bold animated series. I wouldn't have necessarily taken you right off for being a Beach Boys fan. When I was young, and more of those band members were still around and in musician-capable condition, my dad listened to them at home as one of his musical staples. Anyway, thanks a lot for going through and showing all viewers this important classic of such a Golden vintage. Prime art and writing. Great choice and coverage, TSPH...have an excellent day!
Yes Sporehacker ,seems that retro-Marvel and retro- DC Comics are almost the only way to go for domestic heroes here in Florida , but modern Japanese Manga is very promising and related Animes of course , , when leadership finally changes at DISNEY we may finally see good projects start to appear both at Marvel and "Lucas Film" 😮😂 but when it comes to DC-Verse its mostly owned by Warner Bros soooo theres no telling how long it will take them to see the error of DC Comics related projects unfortunately , ,but thats ok Sporehacker just keep doing that important watch dog reporting and bringing indie comics into the public view , , , WYLD ELF26 definitely wishes the best for your Jaguar Warrior projects 🪐🏆🏆🏆😸👍

That being said. It makes a great addition to the cover battle videos that you are doing
