Yeah, tcg Konami is just shit. Ocg is mildly better, and atleast affordable. All in all, the tcg should remove those who make those greedy af decisions, then maybe the game and price situation improves.

Until players realize the actually problem is lack of creativity the game won't get better these players seem to believe the floodgates are the issue you know those cards that only come up in control or as a direct counter to the meta in reality banning those does nothing. The issue i see is most modern meta decks are 10 cards engine all 1 card combos they end on about 1-3 interactions them back them with 2-3 handtraps take away the hand traps and so many more decks can play because lets be honest the do hurt meta but cripple rogue

Orthos is the only REAL replacement but it still allows the summon of fiend monsters and wouldn't you know the TOP performing decks all use fiends almost exclusively.
Of course Konami doesn't want budget decks. How else could they charge over $100 per card for the only viable decks. Can't wait to see how much I'll have to pay for the new Tenyi support.

People have gotten tired of grinding snake-eyes and Yubel. They just wanted something new to play. Ryzeal and Malice are good, but we're not better than Snake-Eyes or Yubel of the prior format. Take it from people in the top of the comp scene. If the last format had time to play out, with the decks from Crossover Breakers, their numbers would have fallen, along with their conversion rates. Snake-eyes was a problem, it was just a mitigated problem. Now it's a solved problem. OSS is gone and now Snake-Eyes can rot in hell. Good riddance.

Dragon ruler tenpai might be a thing now, but we'll see. It shifts from tenpai to dragon ruler focus, since opening paidra, field spell, OR the quickplay gets you into AFD with grave fodder for rulers and a lv7 on field, with potentially a search into ravine or another field spell
@gaiusoctavius6107 like mannadium, you use sooo many engine cards that handtraps in the deck makes it weaker. Running 12-15 handtraps makes it awful. I wish the game was that way
I'm sad for decks that used diabellstar to access their engine like rescue ace, I feel like that banning flamberge would've made snake eyes' cieling way lower while keeping the power of the engine. This way snake eyes becomes literally unplayable and rogue decks suffer. I'm not that happy with this list, except for tenpai being annihilated and for spirit at 1

Sold my whole collection this week to my local store, as a married man with 3 kids I just can’t justify the time commitment for a underwhelming game with mid banlist that pushes you to play the new expensive stuff, terrible prizing at main events, and the generic staples that you can’t really play with out running you bout 700$-1k plus all the reprints are drastically dropping what ever I had of value. I held on to the game for nostalgia but that only goes so far.
Honestly if they took shifter out back, this list would be rock solid. They killed 2 floodgates that only really had use in rogue, and branded, but one that shuts down decks, and has multiple others that can just play into it, feels gross.

Nothing made me happier than seeing Spirit Gates come off the banlist... half my decks include Sacred Beast engines with my personal favorite being a Sacred Beast/Ra/Horus deck.
So glad i'm 1 of those who avoids using meta decks, so this's not hurting me in a slightest... I'm in Indonesia so obviously the ban list is in OCG, but some of my friends are still using TCG cards because OCG Asian English still lacks many cards to get released... Because of that, i ended up making decks that implement ban list of both OCG & TCG 🤣 I don't know but, it's fun to use non meta decks & use both format when making a deck

I think this was good, fiendsmith and snake eyes need more of a hit though(because of the new support), and i was hoping branded fusion was gonna at least gonna get a semi limit. I was also hoping they were gonna do something about the excessive hand traps.
Literally no Draco Master peace unban, no linkuriboh and Superheavy samurai scarecrow un ban, no semi limit for Called by, Misc or Branded fusion following with the lock cards, and no Fiendsmith ban when it was the obvious winner of the YCS. And dragon rulers was an obvious unlimit. Sure Tenpai hit but thats because they are cheap and snake-eyes late hit. Phatnom of Yubel was the only good hit following the unlimit of Op spirit gates. But Pretty much a ZZZZZZZ list
The list is nice, it takes out the old decks so we can play the new ones. Samurai, Called by, and Draco should stay where they are, if anything I would’ve liked to see Crossout join called by. Hand traps should resolve
With Gimmick Puppet now banned, I want Branded Fusion back at 3. I don't care if the deck can run "Fine" with just one, I want to run my pure Branded Deck at full power and its the people who ran that Puppet Locked are the ones that ruined it. Outside of that...... I just got my second copy of Spirit of Yubel too..... so limiting that is kinda hearbreaking to say the least but at least its not banned... but Spirit Gates being made unlimited is surprising to say the least since I always ran just 1 copy anyways even when it was at 3 since most players target the field spell or Nightmare Pain

as long as Sanctifire is available Branded Fusion is going to stay at 1 Puppet lock people will just pivot to Ido the Supreme Magical Force, which may not be as egregious as the puppet, but it still locks your opponent and is unfun
I’m still playing my rda deck mainly because I can’t afford any meta decks and I’m just trying to make the rda still competitive enough to where I can still combo and win
I don't get why anyone is surprised at this point they just nerf the shit in the back so the new set can run things until they make the next meta defining archetype then they nerf the last one usually right around when it becomes affordable too
IDK…at first i was hyped to see this mee list when I heard it was presented differently… But the list doesnt really change anything. Once again, we nuke some meta decks and build the path for ryzeal/maliss decks. The next move is once again to print new rly expensive cards before they get reprinted and then nuke as well later on. Nothing changed..we are just at it again when it comes to repeating the meta rotation and it truly saddens me that Konami is not able to adapt after the last months of negativity
I just got into Ritual beast, still newer to yugioh in general (after doing research into the deck please pray for me), and it looks like I made a decent choice going into this. I don’t think anything hurts it, I can play through shifter, and there are many lines that make it playable. (I just have to learn them)

That banlist as kind of ass not gonna lie, no Meow-Meow-Mu, no Circular, no Misc, but we got Triff winning the YCS, now all we need is for the big dawgs Cali and TJ to win some YCS's and all is good in the world of Yu-Gi-Oh.
They just want u to move to azima ect, u would expect to limit wanted and or bonfire, not just bc we start getting the cheap reprints, but like original sinful helps any deck that has level ones starters, so dragon link, red eyes, dark magician could use it, quite alot even if no one is actually using it like that, using fire king, I always choose to play more fire king then snake eyes, better interactions as a whole and flexible, now got a go in a different way, even rescue ace FK is an option more then ever.
Does anyone have ideas as to what to replace OSS with in Rescue-Ace? I was using the diabellstar package, but now it's kind of useless without OSS. I know I'll be adding in the other 2 lifters, but I'm not sure what else
THIS LIST WAS INSANEEEEEEEEEEEEE! TENPAI'S DEAD, SNAKE-EYES IS DEAD, PHANTOM TO ONE, NIGHTMARE AND JOWGEN BANNED, I GET TO KEEP MY SANCTIFIRE! THIS IS SUCH A HYPE LIST! LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO! (Yes I use Sanctifire. My game plan with Branded is to stick Mirrorjade on field and support it with Bystials and the other Albaz dragons, summoning Sanctifire when I get low on resources. I've never played any locks and I'm so glad I get to keep Sanctifire until my Blue-Eyes Structure Deck arrives!) Also I'm loving the Lost Woods theme in the background, a true man of culture :3

Sanctifire not hit but nightmare is just stupid... next is Râ's disciple, next DDD Requiem etc... like with Alqifibrax - Yubel, still max field spell search, spirit and continuous op spells at 3 - Tempai it's ok, - Snake eye, a flamberge hit would be better, but wait to see Also, no dim barrier or shifter hit because... Konami like with Sancti like to see us suffer I guess

White Forest Azamina seems to be the only deck that can use diabellstar and wanted going forward.
Also dragon rulers are now at full power

@DragoSmash a board wipe isn't as bad as a turn lock. Most decks can play through such things and or have a negate set up before that happens.

IDK…at first i was hyped to see this mee list when I heard it was presented differently…
But the list doesnt really change anything. Once again, we nuke some meta decks and build the path for ryzeal/maliss decks. The next move is once again to print new rly expensive cards before they get reprinted and then nuke as well later on. Nothing changed..we are just at it again when it comes to repeating the meta rotation and it truly saddens me that Konami is not able to adapt after the last months of negativity
I just got into Ritual beast, still newer to yugioh in general (after doing research into the deck please pray for me), and it looks like I made a decent choice going into this. I don’t think anything hurts it, I can play through shifter, and there are many lines that make it playable. (I just have to learn them)

They just want u to move to azima ect, u would expect to limit wanted and or bonfire, not just bc we start getting the cheap reprints, but like original sinful helps any deck that has level ones starters, so dragon link, red eyes, dark magician could use it, quite alot even if no one is actually using it like that, using fire king, I always choose to play more fire king then snake eyes, better interactions as a whole and flexible, now got a go in a different way, even rescue ace FK is an option more then ever.
What decks play cyber jar? I have always loved that card back in the day it was always my 1st draw and 1st card to use.
Does anyone have ideas as to what to replace OSS with in Rescue-Ace? I was using the diabellstar package, but now it's kind of useless without OSS. I know I'll be adding in the other 2 lifters, but I'm not sure what else

My YGO Omega rescue-ace deck was mixed with fire kings and it could play a massive grind game.

(Yes I use Sanctifire. My game plan with Branded is to stick Mirrorjade on field and support it with Bystials and the other Albaz dragons, summoning Sanctifire when I get low on resources. I've never played any locks and I'm so glad I get to keep Sanctifire until my Blue-Eyes Structure Deck arrives!)
Also I'm loving the Lost Woods theme in the background, a true man of culture :3
