I watched your show last night. Great job!! Too bad you're not closer to San Diego! And I watched you on Creative Live. Still trying to get my brain wrapped around AE!
Yes, as mentioned in the video and the description, I did stabilize some clips in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Since the Vision does not have a gimbal, some stabilization may be necessary, or you have to slow-down the playback speed to smooth it out , but since 30fps is max shooting speed, that's not really an option for this camera.
I knew they were getting close but the guy I was flying with (he had the second Phantom 2 Vision you see in the video, and was taking still photos) was a local and told me to just hold your course and they will fly around you. I really had no idea from the ground just how close they had gotten as I was watching the craft instead of my FPV at the moment so didn't see until I went to edit. QUite a happy surprise! :)
worth every penny / just got mine and have not stopped using it. Only your imagination limits what you can do with it. What a great product and it almost flies itself, making it suitable for just about anyone...
I'm finding that my Phantom's 2 Vision's camera iris is not changing correctly, it looks like the f-stops are clicking into place, verses smoothly changing. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Thanks!
How do you like the Phantom so far? I have the 1st version & was planning on getting the Vision but when I heard who short of a range the new transmitter has I put it on hold. Have you had a range issue yet? Or anything you don't like about the new vision?
Totally worth it! Flies like a dream up to 25 minutes too!
No worries - it's all good! Thanks for your interest! :)

Thanks Victor! I'm glad you've had a good take-away from my sessions! :)
