in the beast modes there's actually a decent locking point for the wings. rotate the white bit of the armature all the way up, then fold the joint connecting the 2 dark grey bits in all the way. this soft-locks the wings in place. you can then use the white part of the armature to tilt the wings for posing.

Well done! Sky Lynx has always been one of my favorite characters and this has to be the definite version of that character and it so nice to finally get this character to face off with my Titan Class Predaking. Hasbro is on a roll!
Got this through today. For some reason I wasn’t too sure if actually wanted him but out the box? Wow. He is an awesome piece for sure. I was pleasantly surprised. I love it. Also couldnt recommend Omega supreme anymore. He’s still possibly my favourite and he’s getting the toyhax treatment this Weekend. Go for the purchase so we get a review. Great vid my friend.

MMC's version is slightly bigger, and the G1 version is slightly smaller than earthrise sky lynx. the difference is quite small though, and easily within class tolerances.

Fairly strong ratchet joints? That sounds like that Takara influence to me. Now, *THIS...is...Skylynx!!* Not that flippity floppity horribly altered turd from Combiner Wars. That turd made the equally flippity floppity solo release Scattershot look almost flawless by comparison because it was so bad. And that right there with the lovely Cool Become Brave undersized CW Devy, that's perfection!! Not sure if that was Wei Jiang, though.
British Transformers reviewers all use the word "Really" far too much. All except Thew who has invested in a Thesaurus (also scripts his stuff in everyone else's defense :D). (I really love your vids Ben and really don't want you to be really offended by my really nit-pickey comment. Really)
I have the MMC one and he is a lot better (ofc you can't really compare them because the price points are so different) so this is a pass for me. Thanks for the review Ben.

If you look online you can find both figures standing next to their G1 toy counterparts and they seem to be the same size.
From what i understand the MMC version is bigger
