I mean ophion came from the world tree and guarded it. Where did you think they got the purple metal from? Origin is one for one the same color scheme as ophion. Its control core is the same kind that's used in origin; its basically the blueprint they used to create the larger ones. Ophion has an attack called the Oroborous Cannon. Its a serpent artifice commanded by mythra, who already contains all the data of all life including blades in her core--it would stand to reason ophion could be sent this same information if it didn't already have it. It would also stand to reason its why the oroborous powers manifest the way they do. Mythra and malos would've been aware of jin's abilities and how his arts at least made it into origin's data base.
I'm so glad they put the version they barely used on here. It should have been the less orchestrated version, then the version with the increased brass, then the guitar version as you approach the amphitheatre. Rare Xenoblade musical fumble.
Origin was pretty clearly intended to be a longer dungeon with more important story events until fairly late in development. The artbook also shows major unused areas, and of course certain stuff in the final version like X and Y’s deaths feels weirdly truncated on top of chapter 10 in general seeming rushed.
Common monolithsoft music fumble tbh. The composers always deliver bangers but then the devs do dumb stuff like this, music overriding, glitchy music restarts, and very questionable thresholds for low HP music etc.
This is the Unfinished Business of this game. The first section of the theme only plays during the voiced dialogue where you first arrive in Origin after you fight some monsters. Worst thing is, if you have auto dialogue on, it will end before the song pops off and then you don't hear it ever again. The second section is cool and all, very triumphant, but imo it doesn't go as hard which is sad. But hey, it's really good nonetheless
1:48 - the guitar there sounds like evil laughter and it's FREAKY with headphones on
after 1:40 this shit gets crazy, we MISSED OUT ON THIS
Really wish all versions made it onto the soundtrack, like in NintendoMelody's playlist before it got struck.
Basically do a second time all my playlist after the death of Nintendo melody and i rediscover this song
I love how this track is basically the World Tree equivalent from Xenoblade 2.
And they also made Yggdrasil directly a part of the prison island and black mountain section of Fr

Wow. This version sounds so much differently compared to the gamerip version.
Yazz never disappoints
See?! This is our path to the future!!
Didn't know this banger existed until today, wow!

Nah because the orchestra is when the part is sure of themselves the most so it sounds the most heroic

@@gatotsu2501 I think you mean chapter 7.

Did this version play while exploring Origin? I swear I don't remember it going this hard. Wtf were they thinking if it didn't.
It plays in a single cutscene and most people probably didn't hear it in full
@@bissap_drinkerYes 🥲
Probably because every fodder enemy in origin is aggressive
The first half unfortunately does not, but the second half is the theme for when you get further in, iirc

This felt like an Alliance Raid in FFXIV, don’t even lie to yourselves
Not quite as good as the World Tree, maybe better than Prison Island, but still an incredible track.
I think it's way better than prison island. Its so atmospheric. I prefer the first prison island theme
