Oh lovely! Another Durbridge mystery, we are being spoiled, (but not complaining). I saw this series years ago, searched for it, couldn't find it, thought it lost forever, very glad it isn't. Your efforts in finding these gems are greatly appreciated, CBT, thank you!
I know unbelievable programs some of them. I’ve never even heard of but I’ve absolutely enjoyed ones. I’ve forgotten it’s incredible.
Sam Harvey seems remarkably detached from the extraordinary events happening in his life. I’ll persevere hoping this gets better as I’ve always enjoyed the previous Durbridge mysteries. Thanks for the upload.
Best channel on youtube for entertainment.
I watched the final ep last night. I can't thank you enough for this superb entertainment.
When all these wwre first shown we didn't appreciate them as much as we should've.
We turn on our tvs now and what they give us is enough to make you weep.
Thank you so much. Cannot wait for the rest of the series. Your work is very much appreciated.
Great another Francis Durbridge, really enjoying these.
Oh the wonderful opening of the credits that says ‘Frances Durbridge Presents’. Thank you for uploading this.
Can't wait to see more episodes!
Thanks so much, this one looks a really good series
Well, you've gotten me hooked with this one! Oddly intriguing, as everything from the start seems to be a little off kilter. Looking forward to Episode 2. Thank you.
Another lovely gem… I hope you can dig up more of The Expert as well and of course more of our beloved Durbridge works… many many thanks 😊

Another surprise series from Francis durbridge, marvelous vintage TV missed first time round. Thanks
I had just finished the last episode of an Thriller called the victim when I discovered your new serial. We've just watched ep 1 thank you so much. We love these. .
I really enjoyed this episode of, "The Family Affair," it was very intriguing and mysterious, too. Looking forward to the final reveal. Take care ⚖
Very enjoyable, thank you so much 😊
Mr Randell kept calling Margaret his "wife". I thought she said her husband left her a year ago. What did I miss? Perhaps he was referring to her lying & making up stories.
These series are brilliant. I watch 2x as I always miss something the first time around. TY CBT for these really enjoyable programs. Cheers 🎉
Thank you for uploading...
Very good viewing. Looking forward to next episodes. Thanks for uploading❤
Thank you, that is tea time taken care of for the next few days,😂
Ah was searching for the next episode but realise it’s only just been put up.
Good. This one has more of the trademark Durbridge twists that 'The Passenger' lacked.
I always enjoy a good Francis Durbridge thriller. This is a good romp, although you'll laugh when the villains are uncovered. The follow-up, 'The Local Affair' is a better story of the two.
MJ = best hair on British TV
Much appreciated
And we are off again.
What “service” did he resign from? I couldn’t hear the name clearly. The theme music has some lovely chord progressions.
Police, probably Special Branch but could be CID. He shows his DSU ID at 19:09.
Mum's in 'Murder Ahoy'. Derek Farr top man. Angela Browne my word. Francis Matthew's wife.
His brother, Paul Shelley, in it too.
Yes Joan Benham who died a year later.
Very good in Upstairs Downstairs.
Rover jam sandwich at 8:34.
And now in colour...first comment!
Thought I was first. But no matter, 🙂
@@soniavadnjal7553 you probably were...TH-cam showed no other when I wrote " first comment", but I imagine you saw no other comments as well. But as you say, no matter..
The senior police officers in this thriller seem somewhat inept, even for the Met Police. One gets a kicking during the burglary of a superintendent's flat and just want's to go home: Meanwhile the burglary isn't mentioned again and we jump to another scene.
