I saw it live, it was incredible being 5 meters away to those guys ! Wayne Bergeron an absolute legend of trumpet and Antoine Colin is super strong too !
Don't blame the kit. Those drums would sound OK if he played with any subtlety. But he sounds like a session drummer who doesn't know the tune, is sight-reading it, sees "straight 4", and plays it as if it was rock.
Drummer is annoying. Wayne doesn’t sound like MF but then again who does? Band plays the chart well. Always liked this Adrian Drover arrangement-definitely the best instrumental version of MacPark.
@@JulianDiaz-Tpt good thought. I retired almost 40 years ago having played the Reno showrooms (Sinatra, Sammy, Dean and on and on). My grooming teacher was Al Hirt. Enough said.

Phenominal performance
The New Boss!!
I love Wayne, but this isn’t remotely comparable to Maynard.
Drums?! ...c'mon man. Really? Borrowed somebody's Rock 'n Roll kit? Geez...

Nice, except the sax solo should have been done by a horn player.
Doing too much with the notes. Second, it sounds like a sloppy slur-fest.
Please post a rendition of you, playing it better

Sloppy is an understatement.
