I can't get over this plot twist, by the fact she is cloning herself to watch over dimensions means that every cover she made with a version of herself in it wasn't just a meaningless gag. It was her befriending the protagonist for all one big plot twist. Each song she makes with a version of herself in it is AmaLee/Monarch invading the character's world to try to befriend them. Holy crap. That's actually genius, even if she didn't plan it from the get-go (I mean, she's been doing this before vtubers became popular so no way she could), it was such a good spin. That twist is really good, props to you!

A stronger evil always remains... *So I became that stronger evil.*" a hero wouldn't say that they're straight up the villain that's going to bring the alternative universes to their demises. that's a really weird hero if that was the case. I don't think anti-hero would fit the case either since Amalee's character is planning to bring multiple universes to an end. that's just villainy right there. Anti-heros are a mix of reasonable good and reasonable evil (reasonable as in they're not planning to destroy the world). Monarch is not balancing on a line between, she fell off the line a while ago. if there's something you disagree with, I'd like to hear your opinion on it.

Great concept indeed. Actually not so different from my avatar, an idea i've been cherishing and tweaking away at for nearly my entire life. One i will never be able to make into a series tho. A dimension traveler who started out with an original story but later has been to pretty much any world (anime or movie) and set things right where needed, becoming good as immortal and absolutely incincible on the way. Mastering techniques and magic untold. He'd even leave pieces of himself there in the worlds to keep watch!!! Crazy coincidence, and he ALSO lost his entire world due to the sun dying out in his solar system. He'd have what it takes she thinks the heroes lack and far more. Though not exactly driven by light, I don't think he'd be friends with the monarch :/ kinda feels like his opposite. Love that someones sharing this kind of big picture idea. Not too convinced she is as evil as she presents herself tho. Isn't there way more evil than good in the first place? Why would you have to play the bad guy for balance? Because good always wins? I dont think it ever really does... as there is evil in everyone, and they must fight it, so others wont have to... else its just another fallen to their own flaws... hm... depressing. My character has faced his own darkness many times, as with great power comes great responsibility, he knows if he gives into a whim just once. Enraged, a flick of a wrist could wipe out entire solar systems. Maddening. So much so, he'd think of sealing himself. Truth is, our souls cant handle power well. Always tempted by it, we'd fail to contain it. Luckily he's got his wife for support. She's crazy strong, stronger than him even, not that it matters at their level. So Monarch is a multiverse being and puts clones of herself in different worlds and bending their reality how she sees fit. Well that explains now why we see AmaLee in every anime or show we know and adds a perfect idea for many fanfics.

God, what an amazing idea, a central person sending copies of themselves to various worlds to spy on the heroes it’s brilliant. Though, imagine the heartbreak the heroes of each world would feel knowing their friend was just using them from the very beginning.

When she mention she was making clones you would notice a butterfly, now why am i mentioning this? Like humans butterfly only has two eyes but they have 12000 lenses making them see in different direction just like in the video when she mentioned she was making clones she meant by this is so she can guard all of them at the same time, that was great represention of being a multiverse Edit: butterfly also represent rebirt, resurrection and a metamorphosis which basically means change

With the voice of the character, the elegant appearance but with a sinister and evil intentions. In a way it reminds me of Salem from RWBY and I like it a lot. Good job.
@@dominiquemitchell808 I do see the parallels like with Salem basically kind of an overseer watching humanity divide itself further and further and wanting to get her revenge on the gods of Remnant and I feel like the Crystal concept was inspired by Final Fantasy cuz Crystals are usually a big theme in most of the games or play a key role and the design I feel like was partially inspired by Ultimecia from FF8

I was personally thinking of Merno, a villain from a DBS fan-manga. An angel-esque being who, along with her own world, was wiped out from the face of existence, but she later slowly rebuilds herself from the ground up piece-by-piece, and now she's out for vengeance for the rest of the multiverse, and her plan begins by spreading clones throughout the verse and gathering information on both the heroes and villains, so that when she fully reforms and begins the next phase of her war, she'll have all the knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses of every single being she comes across. Not to mention her desire to destroy and remake the timelines in her image, because she sees herself as a greater order than the one that currently exists. Their stories (while obviously coincidental) are remarkably similar.
This is my theory: Monarch's goal is to stop the main characters from making stupid decisions that would culminate in the villains taking over and destroying that world so causing "unbalance"... thou the "manipulating good people" for a greather purpose could be percieved as something "evil" and "machiavellian" (end justifies the means). When she said "stop foolish heroes" and "protect the balance" I saw a silver lining for the character! She may be good at heart but just forgot it! She's trying to protect those worlds, not destroy them... at least so I think. The "being evil" thing may arise from the fact that her clones will battle against the heros and that would be considered "evil". But in the end Monarch "sees from outside" and already knows the outcome (of hero stupidity). She' s not a plain character. I envision her personality as really deep and complex, considering the feelings of betrayal and remorse she holds from her past. I do hope that despite this "dark intro" we may see a plot twist in the future and her evillous façace was just to serve a greater good, even if no looking so at first impression.
Cast all remaining doubt I had. Amalee has lore now and I'm intrigued. Having her plugged in each song now means something more than a cameo, and her new persona has morphed the straightforward art of making anime OST covers into something way more potent. (Also that clone scene gave me Hawk Moth vibes). Let us see not where but when this monarch will take us
I can see this being a story where her clones do learn about the heroes she's studying, and then choose to oppose the original to protect those universes they've come to love and call home.
@@arreis7866 I feel like it'd be an interesting twist if the original had _always_ loved these worlds. Going to several of her covers where her "clones" appear, such as Magia and Jingo Jungle, they have plenty of expressions that indicate genuine emotions, be they despair, determination or sheer excitement. None of her clones have ever looked particularly malevolent. Scary, perhaps, but never like how I would associate an antagonist. Also, it'd make her dorky personality in streams make a bit more sense lorewise, instead of it just being the fact that Amalee cannot roleplay manipulative villains very well. In fact, that point would make it even better.
This is probably one of the best and S M O O T H E S T career transitions I've ever seen. All of the prior art and cannon fits, the motive makes sense, and it still leaves ao much room for experimentations. All that's left is content execution, but as long as long as the creator works at it loke they did with thiso channel, it'll slap!
There are different types of villains. Just to name a few, you have the pure evil, the ones you love to hate and the ones where they become the villain for the greater good. I always like a villain that deeper motivations than just world conquest. I like a villain that depth to their character. I think you have a great idea for your character. I can't wait to see where you take this.

Love how her lore isn’t just, “I came into the human world, enjoyed it, and got stuck” like so many others, the backstory and voice are all unique and I love the model design. Absolutely brilliant.
Well, think about it tho: the monarchs are not seemingly bound to one dimension and travel. She could the Monarch of existence. If you know solo leveling lore, you know it makes some sense.
Is it bad that I almost started crying when I watch this? It’s so beautiful. And, Amalee in the Magica video now becomes even better. It makes me think that she needed to find a way to fight them….
This is really cool, but I can see that this girl's backstory might be a big reoccurring loop for...not to mention three AmaLee Variants are probably out of her influencing reach or their attempt to take out the hero when they fall is made redundant. (Watch out, vague spoilers) Puella Magi AmaLee is either taken out of the equation by Homura or Madoka, if becoming a Witch doesn't eliminate her first--because depending on the time she acts, she'll either be perceived in getting in Homura's way, or by the time Homura decides to Fall, she'll just suppress AmaLee's power and her memories to keep the status quo she wants to keep established from now on, effectively cutting her off from her main self. Attack on Titan AmaLee would just be doing the job Mikasa will be doing and what Eren would want anyways, the question there is if she'll be doing it too soon, right on time, or far past the point where it won't matter. Demon Slayer AmaLee? She may misunderstand the situation and screw up the world anyways, good thing she's resigned to being the Ultimate evil for each world she's in, but she'll make the point for her intervening in this world very moot if she doesn't catch on. I'm not going to even touch KH AmaLee, because I feel like there are a number of characters who catch on to her true purpose and subsequently use her to further their goals or outright get rid of her, if she isn't already booted out into Unreality if she violates a taboo when she springs into action against any of the heroes. As for others, who the heck knows, but i feel like overall, she might've been set up into a never-ending loop, if her original champions/heroes were actually variants of herself, and they turned against her because they wanted to be free of her influence after they end up destroying the worlds they called home under it. It Leads to her memory fracturing, her devising her plan again, and making more clones/variants of herself in other worlds to keep an eye on the heroes and befriend them in so when they fall, she'll eliminate them, until one variant or more rebels and decides to rally the others to turn on their makers, and so on and so forth...so, her work is eternally beginning and ending, open and shut.
I wonder how this hasn‘t blown up yet. It is such a genius move to combine different worlds in the way she did, with all her different kinds of herself. It reminds me of CopyCat (Animation Meme) or butterflies / villains like Hawkmoth or something. Whatever the case, this was an absolute masterpiece.

This idea and concept of balance has always been fascinating to me. I actually once used it in a roleplay. An albino man with the eyes of the devil. He knew that too much "good" would be the downfall of their world as he watched his lover suffering. And for his lover, he became the greatest evil the world would ever meet. It's actually weird. But... he was right. Because after he was finally defeated, he had gotten rid of so much that only the good remained. Even the evil that came after him never became a huge threat to this new paradise.
Congrats on the debut. This is a really high quality set up. And backed by an amazing vocalist, narrator, voice, what have you. A decent background story too. All across just awesome! Huge effort put in and it shows. I've known of this channel for many many years now since a lot of its covers were around whilst I was in highschool way back. My favourite is the Overlord Voracity and other Overlord covers though. Listen to those every now and again ever since they were released.

We write our own lore. Our own stories in our minds. They become our escape, our hidden identity. We crave a world where we can be free. Unlike reality, these worlds and places are not bound by our fears. Where we have real power and no one can take it away.
Another multiversal antagonist, interesting. I wonder what'd happen if multiple multiversal antagonists crossed path, wether that be a monarch of forgotten memory, creating 'isekai' protagonists for their own gain, or a certain emperor in his dark throne, desiring a new universe without pain or narrative, and choosing to bring about this reality by destroying all others, one timeline at a time, for entropy, is the only way forward. Sorry, current hyperfixation is Doctor Who Dark Days, and whenever I hear about multiversal stuff I wonder how different multiversal crises would effect each other. This is really neat!

Flashing back to the "Butter-fly" cover a long while back...does this mean that the reason we didn't see AmaLee's Digimon partner was because the best fit was Morphomon, and that and Eosmon hadn't been penned, yet? After seeing this, that would fit eerily well.
I love how relatable and beautiful you made the story, it's the everyday life of an anime lover maladaptive dreamer just gone so far down the rabbit hole that just feels closer to all the worlds that don't exist than our reality
So what I understand is the clones are learning about heroes from various multiverses, and growing close to them to gage their strength and if they might be able to truly defeat evil. I'm assuming if they end up becoming strong enough the clones help them, but if not then the clones turn evil to offset the evil that might destroy that heroes world. interesting, very very interesting indeed.

@@dominiquemitchell808 I do see the parallels like with Salem basically kind of an overseer watching humanity divide itself further and further and wanting to get her revenge on the gods of Remnant and I feel like the Crystal concept was inspired by Final Fantasy cuz Crystals are usually a big theme in most of the games or play a key role and the design I feel like was partially inspired by Ultimecia from FF8

I was personally thinking of Merno, a villain from a DBS fan-manga. An angel-esque being who, along with her own world, was wiped out from the face of existence, but she later slowly rebuilds herself from the ground up piece-by-piece, and now she's out for vengeance for the rest of the multiverse, and her plan begins by spreading clones throughout the verse and gathering information on both the heroes and villains, so that when she fully reforms and begins the next phase of her war, she'll have all the knowledge, strengths, and weaknesses of every single being she comes across. Not to mention her desire to destroy and remake the timelines in her image, because she sees herself as a greater order than the one that currently exists. Their stories (while obviously coincidental) are remarkably similar.

This is my theory: Monarch's goal is to stop the main characters from making stupid decisions that would culminate in the villains taking over and destroying that world so causing "unbalance"... thou the "manipulating good people" for a greather purpose could be percieved as something "evil" and "machiavellian" (end justifies the means). When she said "stop foolish heroes" and "protect the balance" I saw a silver lining for the character! She may be good at heart but just forgot it! She's trying to protect those worlds, not destroy them... at least so I think. The "being evil" thing may arise from the fact that her clones will battle against the heros and that would be considered "evil". But in the end Monarch "sees from outside" and already knows the outcome (of hero stupidity). She' s not a plain character. I envision
her personality as really deep and complex, considering the feelings of betrayal and remorse she holds from her past. I do hope that despite this "dark intro" we may see a plot twist in the future and her evillous façace was just to serve a greater good, even if no looking so at first impression.

@@arreis7866 I feel like it'd be an interesting twist if the original had _always_ loved these worlds. Going to several of her covers where her "clones" appear, such as Magia and Jingo Jungle, they have plenty of expressions that indicate genuine emotions, be they despair, determination or sheer excitement. None of her clones have ever looked particularly malevolent. Scary, perhaps, but never like how I would associate an antagonist.
Also, it'd make her dorky personality in streams make a bit more sense lorewise, instead of it just being the fact that Amalee cannot roleplay manipulative villains very well. In fact, that point would make it even better.
I would watch the Hell out of that Anime.
This is probably one of the best and S M O O T H E S T career transitions I've ever seen.
All of the prior art and cannon fits, the motive makes sense, and it still leaves ao much room for experimentations.
All that's left is content execution, but as long as long as the creator works at it loke they did with thiso channel, it'll slap!
There are different types of villains. Just to name a few, you have the pure evil, the ones you love to hate and the ones where they become the villain for the greater good. I always like a villain that deeper motivations than just world conquest. I like a villain that depth to their character. I think you have a great idea for your character. I can't wait to see where you take this.

This is really cool, but I can see that this girl's backstory might be a big reoccurring loop for...not to mention three AmaLee Variants are probably out of her influencing reach or their attempt to take out the hero when they fall is made redundant. (Watch out, vague spoilers)
Puella Magi AmaLee is either taken out of the equation by Homura or Madoka, if becoming a Witch doesn't eliminate her first--because depending on the time she acts, she'll either be perceived in getting in Homura's way, or by the time Homura decides to Fall, she'll just suppress AmaLee's power and her memories to keep the status quo she wants to keep established from now on, effectively cutting her off from her main self.
Attack on Titan AmaLee would just be doing the job Mikasa will be doing and what Eren would want anyways, the question there is if she'll be doing it too soon, right on time, or far past the point where it won't matter.
Demon Slayer AmaLee? She may misunderstand the situation and screw up the world anyways, good thing she's resigned to being the Ultimate evil for each world she's in, but she'll make the point for her intervening in this world very moot if she doesn't catch on.
I'm not going to even touch KH AmaLee, because I feel like there are a number of characters who catch on to her true purpose and subsequently use her to further their goals or outright get rid of her, if she isn't already booted out into Unreality if she violates a taboo when she springs into action against any of the heroes. As for others, who the heck knows, but i feel like overall, she might've been set up into a never-ending loop, if her original champions/heroes were actually variants of herself, and they turned against her because they wanted to be free of her influence after they end up destroying the worlds they called home under it. It Leads to her memory fracturing, her devising her plan again, and making more clones/variants of herself in other worlds to keep an eye on the heroes and befriend them in so when they fall, she'll eliminate them, until one variant or more rebels and decides to rally the others to turn on their makers, and so on and so forth...so, her work is eternally beginning and ending, open and shut.
I wonder how this hasn‘t blown up yet. It is such a genius move to combine different worlds in the way she did, with all her different kinds of herself. It reminds me of CopyCat (Animation Meme) or butterflies / villains like Hawkmoth or something. Whatever the case, this was an absolute masterpiece.
This almost feels like a prologue to the inevitable Vtuber Smash-like crossover game.

This idea and concept of balance has always been fascinating to me. I actually once used it in a roleplay. An albino man with the eyes of the devil. He knew that too much "good" would be the downfall of their world as he watched his lover suffering. And for his lover, he became the greatest evil the world would ever meet.
It's actually weird. But... he was right. Because after he was finally defeated, he had gotten rid of so much that only the good remained. Even the evil that came after him never became a huge threat to this new paradise.

I've known of this channel for many many years now since a lot of its covers were around whilst I was in highschool way back. My favourite is the Overlord Voracity and other Overlord covers though. Listen to those every now and again ever since they were released.

So what I understand is the clones are learning about heroes from various multiverses, and growing close to them to gage their strength and if they might be able to truly defeat evil. I'm assuming if they end up becoming strong enough the clones help them, but if not then the clones turn evil to offset the evil that might destroy that heroes world.
