Disadvantage is that you have to pen more shots, so you have to poke more and take more time and risk more to get them out, but the advantages are that, you have a higher chance of damaging modules and taking out tracks or getting ammoracks, and you can, for instance, if there's 3 tanks left on their team and just you and a teammate who are both slightly healthy, and they have 2 tanks on a one shot and 1 tank thats a bit healthy as well, you can put 2 shots in the healthy tank, then leave him for your teammate to deal with, and use your other 2 shells to take out the guys that are down to 1 shot before they get shots out on you guys. Personally, I like more damage faster, I'm a 2 shot yoh instead of a 3 shot kind of guy, but I do appreciate playing a tank with 4 shells like the Lorraine or the skoda.
