I watched 1,000s of videos. It's so hard to come up with new info. This is one of the best videos on TH-cam. Everybody having issues should watch this one. You put a lot of effort into your videos. I'm getting to the point that for me focusing on the setup can really drastically help each shot. For example: I just learned Adam Scott grabs the club from the side of his body. This promotes a neutral grip. All of these little things without thinking of them can come naturally without thinking about them. Trying to get to a good setup without consciously thinking about them.

This entire time I thought closing was done some other way but basically took this as more flexion (like I do with irons) and the results are insane. Feels soo good to hit that long, straight draw!! Thanks

You are such a fantastic teacher!!! You really allowed me to hit my irons with a snap that outs great spin, height and distance! I was wondering when you would release another driver video! I realized that I was trying to hit so up on the ball by bending my wrist and tilting my body so hard...
I wish you taught here locally, I would totally go to your school everyday!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

This answered a big, nagging question for me specifically about the driver swing and release. Great stuff as always, JKM! Much appreciated!

A lot of people legs are straightening too early at impact with driver. Maybe make a video on what the legs do with driver if you haven’t already.

    Great video.
At what point in the downswing should i be uncocking/releasing my wrists to get max speed at impact ?

brilliantly explained and illustrated. I would question - what are some feels to get the feeling of the strike later in the arc? If I make my iron swing with ball forward to get the 'lowest point' at the ball or slightly behind, it feels to me like the swing is over before impact and that impact is therefore weak in comparison to an iron shot with ball further back, where I still have trail arm releasing and rotation through the ball. For context, I am a 5 hcp, whose recurring tendency is de-lofting too much for my speed and hitting well-struck shots but often with too low a ball flight.

This is fantastic!! Just got the hackmotion and was wondering this exact same thing. Would you mind showing the full graph of your swings? I’ve noticed im in a good position for wrist angles at impact but it’s a very steep line into extension post impact. Now sure if that’s bad or not. Could be why I deal with some medial wrist pain. Thanks!!

Love your dtrsight forward approach to teaching. I have the hack motion but got frustrated because it was always telling me I'm too far out of spec. Are you just worried about at impact?

Pretty cool gadget. They want an extra $600 to unlock all the software features which is off putting. It makes it seem like the device is cheap because the device is $245. They need to rethink their pricing strategy IMO. Your channel is awesome tho!

Thank you for your great videos on the golf swing you have the best detail of Any teacher I've ever talked to visit it or saw online. I do have one question it may not reflect this particular video but I didn't know where exactly to place it since I've started trying to work on the things that you talked about on your swing I find it I can get ahead of the ball trying to get my lower body to work correctly, what I've had to do is open my stamps way up to be able to hit the ball solid and straight so what is that telling me and how do I fix that to where I can line up properly and still hit the ball solid thank you so much for any reply you might choose to place here

Hi it would difficult for me to give you specific advice without seeing your swing myself. You can visit my profile on the "Skillest" app to see my online coaching programs.

Can you define the wrist positions?
I dont understand difference between extended and flexed and cupped and flat?
    Thank you

I'm impressed with the unit! Can you use without a ball inside? I'm in a small apartment with no net or nothing and just want to get the right wrist actions!

Thanks for the video! I’m a little confused about one thing. Does the device measure actual impact? Or is it measuring low point? I’m trying to understand how wrist can be the same at impact if with the iron there is shaft lean at impact and with the driver there isn’t.

Every TH-cam golf creator must have received a free hack motion device. And all just posted videos with them. Sure they look like the work but after going to the site and seeing the price, maybe the should have lowered the price of the device instead of giving out free devices. For $1000 I think they are way overpriced for the average weekend hacker like myself. Imo.
    Thanks for the video

The Hackmotion device is the same device for all different price levels. It’s the loaded software which is different. The highest price “Pro” version includes putting motion & advance analysis along with the full swing data, which I don’t believe the average amateur golfer needs. The cheapest price level “”Core” version software shows your full swing motion, the extension & flexion of your lead wrist, and that’s all you need. The additional price level, “Plus” version, includes putting motion, but not the advanced analysis data.

JKM, glad you killed the music, no need, it's a distraction. Keep doing what you're doing!
