Wilderness Bed Swing Made from Felled Dead Pines. (1 of 2) #25

  • For this week's wilderness chainsaw project, I cut down dead pine trees and fashioned them into a hanging log bed in the middle of the forest. Because it is winter, I was unable to finish installing the chainsaw milled lumber headboard once all of my power tool batteries died and couldn't be recharged in the cold.
This is part 1 of 2 of building, hanging and sleeping on a log bed in the woods in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
Because I’ve gotten so many questions about the gear that I use on the channel, here are some of the most important pieces I use every day:
My Favorite Piece of Gear- Chainsaw Helmet amzn.to/3uuW5xB
    Granberg Chainsaw Mill amzn.to/3cdRXvn
How I Keep the Mosquitoes Away! amzn.to/3frenvh
    Big, Black Log-Peeling Knife - Becker BK9 amzn.to/3oZIeOH
The Trailer I Use Behind My 4 Wheeler- Yutrax amzn.to/3fvO8DK
Bug Net Rooms I Use amzn.to/3uwOK0l
Heaters in My Tent and the Deer Castle amzn.to/3frQ7Jh
Thank you all so much for supporting this crazy endeavor! Without you folks donating to Surviving Ringworm, I wouldn't be able to even consider staying out here in the wilderness a second year making videos. You seriously blow my mind!

Victorians made tall canopy beds. You already have a canopy of tree branches and soon a tarp type of canopy. So for the height of luxury of your canopy swing bed, you need a set of steps for both sides of the bed. After all, that should be the summer guest room. Just a thought.... or hint.

I hate to start intervening by making suggestions, but if you could find some lakes or ponds near there this spring and take the 4-wheeler, find some bait out there, bring some trout or walleye back to Ringworm to eat, that would be a cool video I think everyone would agree. All you do is just cutting trees for no reason ,At least build a cabin so you don't have to sleep in the tent

You summed the channel up perfectly: cuttin' trees for no reason and sleeping in a tent for no reason.
