    I noticed that in other USA cities, the subways and railroads run side by side. NYC doesn’t really have that

      The L, N, and the A train run next to railroads. However the A train runs next to an abandoned one.

    Now how did you manage to get on an Oak Grove-bound train at Malden Center and get off at Wellington?

    No headlights. That blows me!

      They have the option to turn them on and off. They're supposed to have them off when entering a station cause somehow theirs are way too bright

      Yeah I was confused by that... trains look like they're going the opposite way with only the red lights. I'm from Boston and don't remember this on the old trains

      @@ChicagolandTransit It's the same reason if you drive you're supposed to turn the high-beams off when someone's coming the other way. You need the bright lights to be able to see in the tunnels and at night, but you don't want to blind people coming into the station.
