The rooms there are nicer than I thought they would be! Great video, as always. We ate at Oscar’s a few years ago because of the movie Casino, watched it a million times. We sat in the same area as you and the food was outstanding!

@@billycarroll9153 Fremont Street doesn't get nearly enough love. It's a great place to stay and have fun without breaking the bank, and you can easily get to the Strip if there's a show you're looking to catch or a place you're looking to eat at.

I live in Vegas and thanks to Covid did many staycations this year, cool to see a classic. I would have never considered it, but looks way better than the run down room we had at MGM this summer!

The plaza is my must go-to hotel whenever in Vegas. Good accomodations, food and tempo. It's near to literally everything in Fremont and the casino is money. Keep it up Plaza employees.

Not many people know that a few years ago when there were floors damaged by water, the plaza did not renovate all the floors in the non-smoking tower just the floors that had water damage. The other tower which is the smoking area tower had absolutely no renovation done to it. This according to a security officer when I stayed at the plaza last June.
I did sense a brotherly protectiveness of ur sister with ur lines: " He"s going to stuff 3 pounds of meat in his belly, but I don't know" & " See, wer'e twins and he's Not" . Loved the Plaza, room & vid.. ..

I have so much respect for the Plaza because there was this one time I went to Vegas with my parents, and we never booked a room because it was so last minute, so we were just going to check in when we got there, and there literally weren’t any rooms available since it was summer like absolutely nothing, we had checked everywhere and nothing, until my mom called this hotel and FINALLY there was a room available, I was like 7-8 and I was just so happy.

I did love the video, but I would have also liked to see you stay as a regular guest to give us a feel for a normal persons experience. ( I’m sure they gave you the better options and room for the video, which is smart of them since they know TH-cam will see it). Great videos I love them.
Plaza has been at the top of must go to Vegas list, seems like a very friendly, down to earth place, food looks great and soo many slots. Somehow we always end up mucking around the South end of strip.... 🤔 Can't wait to visit the PLAZA 💖💖💖

I think I will be staying at Plaza next visit. I always stay on the strip and end up playing mostly in downtown. I have watched so many videos of the Plaza Casino and like it.
I stayed at the Plaza last June. We had a great time. One room was in the North tower and was huge like the room you got. The other room was in the South tower (smoking) and over looked the pool and pool bar. The cabana rental was reasonable, one day we got the cabana, the next day we simply went to the pool and sat at the bar. I would recommend this place to anyone.
DUUUUUUUUUDE, I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Me and GF went to life is beautiful and were on the fence on what hotel to get around Fremont since some are sketch but thanks to this and mentioning the upgraded rooms our stay was an absolute dream!! Thanks again my man from a fellow Nevadian

Pompsie, Great video. When I see that front entrance I always imagine Dinero welcoming the Japanese Whale back to the “Tangiers” (from Casino). Did you know it used to be the Union Plaza bc it was also the downtown train depot for the Union Pacific?

Well, I'm sure you've heard THAT before 😂 For the best food in Vegas, it's up high at the Palms. Wish you'd go to Biloxi, Ms and do one about the Treasure Bay - the cutest, most quaint and cheapest little casino resort I've ever seen. Great video, Pomp. Keep it up.

This was Super 8 digital VHS 📼 classic stuff. But I do remember framing shots & editing, and it's here where you excel. God Bless & Godspeed to you & All of Las Vegas.
stayed there 15 years ago and absolutely hated it. The main level reeked of sewage, the rooms were dirty and the elevators barely worked. Never considered staying there again until this video. I go to vegas 2 or 3 times a year and I'll give The Plaza another chance sometime in the future. And Pompsie, your style of making/editing videos is beyond compare. Love them all.
For sure remember when the place was a dump back in the day until they renovated they always had good casino hosts that treated their players well miss elmer he was the best host

My uncle's company was the general contractor on the build back in early 1970s. My parents attended the opening weekend. Very classy, old Vegas.
