“Alright im eat my burrito” 😂😭💀
Kristian's pull quote on Rotten Tomatoes lol
Kristian was more excited about that burrito 🌯😂
She also directed a lot of episodes for her dads show Servent on apple which is very good
Amazing show.
We know you're NOT a horror guy, but it sounds mediocre. I'll probably pass.
Thanks for sharing so fast!
I predict very few watchers will be watching this weekend.
Wonder if there's an M. Night style twist in this one?
The book does have a “twist”. So yeah it sorta does.
These walking out of the theatre reactions are low-key hilarious
Got my tickets for tomorrow. Looking forward to checking it out!
Going to see it tomorrow to, going after I get off my work, going to a 6:55 showing. The movie has me curious, I'm interested to watch it tomorrow.
Sounds like watching Kristian eat his burrito is better than the film itself.
Semi interested in this one, not sure what to expect. Thanks for the reaction
All the reviews I've seen say about the same thing. She's a great director, but the movie wasn't that good.
The movie doesn't look promising. The burrito sounds better!
I watched her interview with Reelblend for when she did 2nd Unit on “Old”. She discussed her passion, experience at NYU Tisch, shooting on 🎞️, etc I’m interested for sure. Having a directorial debut on the studio level at just 24 years old is 👏🏻. She’s put her time in directing music videos, working in the writers room for “servant”, directing episodes of “servant”, also 2nd unit for “Knock at the Cabin”. And some are definitely gonna use “Nepo Baby” as an excuse. I get it. But she found that passion on her own, her father didn’t force feed it down her throat. Look forward to seeing this and what she’s got next
lol are you a hired bot or her PR manager? she is nepo baby, the movie was horrible, i saw it today europe.
I'm interested to check it out.
Alright, gonna go eat my burrito, haha! Hope it was better than the movie 😃
Great reaction bro. I'm optimistic at the moment lol.
What kind of burrito
Sounds disappointing
I like this movie. I comprehend most of it. It’s pretty much about past trauma and letting go of guilt, regret, and pain. (Foreshadowing) The main character Mina shape shifts into other people (wearing wigs, different personas) because she blames herself for her mom’s death. Once in the forest there are fairies that can shape shift into humans. The fairies watch the humans to master what it’s like to be human, (ex the show “Big Brother” replaying over and over, interactions with each other).
There is only one fairy that can do it perfectly. This fairy can be in sunlight unlike the others that only come out at night. Reason is revealed towards the end when the fairy finds out it’s half human. As the fairy recollects on its bonding time with the humans(feelings, emotions, sympathy) it realizes it doesn’t have to be shackled down by its past and chooses to watch over Mina as she learns to let go of her past trauma.
How was the burrito?
“I’m going to eat my burrito”
Nice out of the theater reaction, Kristian! See ya at the next one =)
The way I see it, Ishana Night is a great director, but not a very good writer. The writing was the weakest part of the film, from the messy exposition to just poor dialogue. Her next effort needs a more established writer, either as a co-writer or just the writer in general.
I have never been on a hollywood lot, so i was more interested seeing all the stuff in the background of the video!
I might check this out anyway. Sounds decent. Thanks for your consistent work.
What I got from this:
1) You like the director.
2) The actors did a good job. Not great, but good.
3) The movie fell flat.
.
I was thinking of going to see this tonight.
After this review and a RT audience score of 50%, think I'll pass.
.
Thanks for the first impression.
You saved me two hours of my life!
:D
You cannot expect perfection on the first shot, but seems worth a see maybe on streaming or if you have a movie pass so it is free in a sense.
I NEED EPISODE REACTIONS TO THE BEAR SEASON 3!!! Please!!!!!
The ending was so so bad. I really enjoyed the cinematography throughout the whole movie, but the ending should have been revised. It ended up being more goofy than it should have which sucks because the premise was kinda cool and the beginning was intriguing. If the watchers weren’t revealed, I could definitely see this being a better movie. Unfortunately though at the end of the showing, everyone laughed lol
Another lost in the woods with a cabin in it. Yeah, I'd say that is pretty generic.
Damn another day Harloff goes to my work and I don’t run into ya. You got any more screenings before the move?
I am so fucked up now fucking nite mares
Interesting. Well put.
It's clearly not nepotism.........
I've only seen the poster and it caught my attention, so I'm going in blind to this one. M. Night has been VERY hit and miss for me over the years, so we'll see how this goes.
Honestly this movie hasnt really had a hook for me, but I will give it a chance at some point.
I am very interested in this one
I’m going to see this to support the directors debut, also people said the book was kinda baseline so I’m not shocked by this but of the 9 min clip I saw I’m interested so
Not going to lie…I’ve NEVER even heard of this film until this moment.
Meh. Much like the horror movie that came out last week - I can wait for it to get on a platform.
I really have a hard time understanding how the Shyamalan's get their movies financed. The dad, and now the daughter, seem to make nothing but mediocrity. It's been a long time since Unbreakable.
Here for the burrito
Im dun with M. Night movies. They don't pay off in the end. He shud have other people write his scripts n he can just concentrate on directing.
Kristian, you look scared and worried in this one, just making a comment :)
He looked like his burrito was running away from him.
🥁🤣🥁 much love🥁✌️🇵🇷
I was hyped for this movie because I had thought it was original. Then upon further research I saw those dreaded words I wish I saw less of "based on". My interest practically died. You would think her last name being Shyamalan would be enough of a selling point but nope. They had to go use an established IP. This and your reaction sounding like it's mediocre makes me want to stay home now. smh I think I'll wait a week for more reviews.
It’s based on a book. The book was actually good overall. A little generic, interesting creature lore. Not sure how it would translate on the screen, but in terms of source material, it’s a decent pick where the movie could be pretty good. It really depends on the execution of the Watchers themselves. But I can see it being a Shyamalan type story.
It feels psychological thriller or horror?
Neither unfortunately, ends up feeling as scary as a Disney channel horror movie
I watched this.....and ya.....it wasn't good.
So this movie is nepotism done right?
The end is lame as f
Rarely comment, but..
…it’s 🌯 time!🤌🏼
Sorry the only M. Night movies I liked are sixth sense, unbreakable, glass and the visit. All other movies are trash
