In a dance competition, there are overalls. That's what they show. Overalls are the top solos or groups of ALL the dances. So, even if someone gets second, it doesn't mean you automatically win. Just wanted to let you know!
In dance they only pick out a certain number of the dances, so say that there were 20 dances in the category, so they would pick out maybe 10 dances out of the category so sometimes people dont even place in their category that they competed in. So that is why they always stress out when they already picked 2nd place. ILYSM!!

Snow, there are actually lots of people that enter solos, group dances, trios, duets and all of that. But the competitions only pick three winners ( 1st, 2nd, 3rd ). So it is kinda of stressful during awards because there is a possibility you could place, or you could not place at all. :) I'm a dancer so I know from experience 😊
