It just means that they automatically advance to the next round and aren't at risk of being culled by the judges. The number of yesses always exceeds the number of slots in the next round, so they have to cut down and reject some of the people they've said yes to, but having a Golden Buzzer means you're automatically through.
As a Dad of a son, who is in Spartans Resurrection from a few years ago. This was a golden buzzer act all day long. Best act I’ve seen all season. My son said, it’s one act they would not like to compete against at competitions. Well done and I’m sure you’ll be in the semi finals and I’ll be voting for you

The thing that made this so extraordinary and amazing was the story, the visual effects and sound effects and the perfect coordination between everyone plus good acting. Actually the acrobatics / gymnastics they did was not the most difficult compared to other series’s. But the guy who created it used ALL the tricks he could to make the end result so powerful, and must have spend lots of time with the group preparing this. So a huge applause to especially him

To all: The Freaks are not the same group as Zurcaroh. Yes, both from Austria but amateur groups (!!) of different sports clubs. Their members are training in their spare time next to school or jobs. And that's even more amazing.
So much trust in this act. And responsibility to be in the right place at the right time to catch people. All this on top of their awesome acrobatic ability! Bravo!!!
Its the same as in cheerleading/circus etc. You need to be able to trust ur fellow members blindly. They also train alot on those catches because even small errors can cause injuries.
Very reminiscent of Zurcaroh from a few years ago - that lift at 1:36 was outstanding - for those 3 people to keep their balance while the top person caught and held onto and balanced with that young girl was incredible - as was all of their act!

The first group that manages to get in the same direction and nearly the level as Zurcaroh on 2018 AGT. Though the ending of the Zurcaroh Golden Buzzer performance is still the craziest thing ever seen in such an acrobatic group. Nevertheless great performance and they absolutely would have deserved the golden buzzer.
Honestly they should got a Golden Buzzer it was cool and smart. They should be proud of themselves it was a awesome act. I was just worried for the kids not to get hurt are injure. they’re professional peoples and kids.

I was lucky enough to see this live it was absolutely incredible! It was actually Simon who was last to have his golden buzzer out of all the judges. They don’t show it all in order!They also cut out the crowd going wild asking him to press the buzzer and him snapping at us all saying he wasn’t going to press it 😤

It's acts like this where the camera needs to stay on the performers. I don't mind judge or audience reactions to singers or even comedians because you can still hear the act, but when you have an act that is very visual, being able to take in what is going on, then no, I don't want to be distracted by the judges or audience at that point. I don't think any major stunts were missed, but sometimes there could be something else going on that could be missed. As Amanda pointed out, there was a lot going on. But BGT always does the same. Very impressive act.

Plus they had the people holding the girl and the girl jump rope. This had it's own special flare! Both were flawless in their own way! I LOVED them both!!

This reminded me so much of Spellbound. They won in their year and it was very similar even the human jump rope that Alicia said she never saw. But they had the theatrical side to it that made it beautiful to watch!
It reminded me too a lot of Spellbound especially as they used the same music and gymnastic moves from their routine. Felt like it was a copy cat from them.

OMG!!! That brave little girl. You could tell when she was over 20 feet in the air you could see the terror in her face. Please don't drop me. Being tossed over 25ft in the air just the girl alone being tossed like that she should've gotten the golden Buzzer. Yes the performance was absolutely stunning. I have no words for my disappointment, they deserved the golden buzzer more than anything. I cant believe the judges would miss such an opportunity.

This reminded me so much of Spellbound. They won in their year and it was very similar even the human jump rope that Alicia said she never saw. But they had the theatrical side to it that made it beautiful to watch!
It reminded me too a lot of Spellbound especially as they used the same music and gymnastic moves from their routine. Felt like it was a copy cat from them.
When I saw this on bgt,I thought that would have had a golden buzzer,it was fernominus,out of this world!

OMG!!! That brave little girl. You could tell when she was over 20 feet in the air you could see the terror in her face. Please don't drop me. Being tossed over 25ft in the air just the girl alone being tossed like that she should've gotten the golden Buzzer. Yes the performance was absolutely stunning. It's when you get a performance like this where it's literally jaw dropping. You got a Golden Buzzer from me. Keep up the amazingly awesome job everyone. Great job and good luck. And be careful.
