    Nice demonstration of The Score. 👍

      Thank you! That’s a rough edit from my monster short film coming out early next year.

    Man this is excellent ! Give us more !!! You could try the keyswitches for scenes ...intro, main A ,B ,outro !!!

      So true! I actually didn’t realize this had key switching until after I made the video 😂 I’m using this on a gig next month and will create a follow up video once I have more experience with it and try that out. Thanks for watching and the suggestion.

      @@SamDiazProducer I hope it goes on sale someday.... expensive but impressive. Looking forward to a more detailed review but right now it looks to be an essential productivity suite for fledgling composers (even if they are pushing 80yrs ({-;)

    This sounds great, but is this your composing or just the Score? Before I even think about getting this, I already have Hollywood Opus and learning that. What is the difference between the two?

      EA Hollywood Orchestra - as the name suggests - is a full symphony orchestra with each section individually sampled (so you have Violins I & II, Violas, Cellos,..., Trumpets, Trombones, Horns, and so on...) while The Score gives you an orchestra PLUS a lot more traditional intruments (like guitars) and synths BUT in this case the orchestra is patch-based (so you have String High/Low, Brass High/Low, Woods High/Low, NOT the individual sections). Let's say it trades a bigger instruments choice with a lot less flexibility in the orchestral part.
      Moreover, EAHO arranger (aka The Orchestrator) is way more powerful than The Score arranger, which in turn is more powerful than Sonuscore's The Orchestra 3 arranger.
      Anyway, I agree on The Score sounding great indeed, especially when it merges the orchestra with traditional instruments like the acoustic guitar, giving that rich ensemble sound.

      Hi Kenneth!! Cosmodrome actually answered this question better than I ever could 😂 and he is right, the EastWest stuff is way more complete and top tier imo.
      To me the Score is more of a sketch tool that I would add layers too with other instruments or libraries. Here I was just trying it out with some generic chords over some short film scenes I previously scored that I still had on my hard drive. But honestly now a days you can pretty much get great results with most orchestral libraries out there if you learn them well enough.

      @@cosmodrome9478 but score has individual instruments too, and you can adjust different section based on your requirment.

    Do you think this will go on sale for Black friday, or should I just pull the trigger now?

    • @SamDiazProducer
      @SamDiazProducer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would wait unless you need it urgently for a gig.
      I have a gig coming up where I really wanted to use it which is why I bought it so early on but otherwise I would have waited for a sale.

    Is it not possible to view all instruments at once?

    • @SamDiazProducer
      @SamDiazProducer  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are little arrows to the left and right where you can page through all the instruments in each preset and modify them as you wish.

      @@SamDiazProducer I found it strange, it would be much better to work seeing all the instruments on the screen. Nowadays, even those who have a home studio use one or more large monitors, it seems that the program was made for use on a tablet screen....

    I think this is great that you’ve done this, however as a The Score owner myself, there’s a certain “one dimensionalness” about The Score. I can’t place my finger on it yet. Not knocking the software nor your valiant efforts.

    • @SamDiazProducer
      @SamDiazProducer  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi there and yes I totally know what you mean. The more I try it the more I notice it’s limitations and usefulness. I would use the score maybe as a last resort for a musical bed or if I need some quick inspiration etc. I still prefer to mock things up from scratch as it feels more original to myself but this is a pretty good tool to have either way. The orchestra 3 imo has more useful presets that I often go to, especially orchestration presets etc. Thanks for watching and for your input as well 🙏

      One idea that comes to mind is to get starting ideas for instrumentation , not writing with the score but picking a preset and seeing what instruments are used and what those instruments are doing with you lay something down and take that and go get other vsts and implementing that with those and to me it seems you can run with your own creativity rather than being subject to the scores limitations.

    • @5ammy13

      I agree. I think The Score shines in creating rough sketches very quickly to show directors and getting approvals. Also works as layering potentially.
