Crazy show! Show started with one set of queens, only had 5 for one song then the cast switched around.
Started with..
Jaye J - Aragon
Collette - Boleyn
Hana - Seymour
CJ - Cleves
Zara - Howard
Danielle - Parr
And ended with..
Jaye J - Aragon
Collette - Boleyn
Liv - Seymour
CJ - Cleves

what happened?
Danielle got sick mid-show, so Hana had to switch to her other 1st cover role, which is Parr, and they brought Liv on as Seymour for the rest of the show

@@benmcgee2694 hana switched to parr just after dont lose ur head, there was a quick show stop but then they came back on with the edited cast
so hana only sang i dont need your love
One day, the cast will be JUST ALTERNATES

What does alternatives mean exactly ?

@@dxntloseurheadWhen Jen was in London she also went on as Parr midshow, leaving Courtney Bowman as the only principle cast member that night. Danielle Steers went off before "Get Down" during that show.

@@josephcarlisle1943 Jen was even live-streaming at the time she got called in! It was kinda funny because minutes before someone asked what the process would be if she got called on and she ended up doing exactly that!

She's so insanely talented!
Honestly my fav megasix I’ve seen. They all genuinely fit the characters they portrayed and id kill to see them in the actual queen costumes live

I'm still wondering how they pulled the switch off! Anyone that were there that want to explain? Also, huge props to Hana for doing two parts in one evening!
I was there (hence the Megasix I uploaded 😂) what did you want to know about the switch?
@@kirstyf really just how they pulled of the Hana switch. Like, did she go off stage, did someone come in the wings and told her?
@@jennys4562 ah ok! They stopped the show just after Don’t Lose Ur Head. Some guy came out, said they would have to stop for a little bit, then 20 minutes or so later it started back up with Hana as Parr and Liv as Seymour 😊

So I guess I have more questions? Does Liv cover everyone? Is there a reason why they didn’t just have her fill in for Parr when it became evident that Danielle couldn’t finish the show?
I think the plan is she’ll be able to cover everyone as emergency cover when needed. I don’t know for sure, no one does, but can only assume she’d rehearsed more as Seymour and was more ready to do that than Parr.

I have two questions:
1. Has Colette always worn shorts while playing Boleyn? At least in recent history? I feel like I’ve seen mega sixes with her wearing something else?
2. Are they going to have 5 alternates in London now, or is someone leaving?
1. collette only just started wearing the shorts, before she had a skirt
2. there are 4 west end alts (hana, zara, cherelle, collette) and 2 standbys (for emergency covers like this) them being bryony duncan and liv alexander, from this vid

@@amb2487 Knowing this, and this is a very unlikely hypothetical situation, we could end up with the ULTIMATE alternate massive in SIX herstory 😱
@@haphazardtube8027 Liv was cover Aragon/Boleyn/Cleves on the Norwegian Breakaway Cruise, and Bryony was cover Boleyn/Seymour/Howard on the Norwegian Bliss 1.0 Cruise (aka first Bliss cast); Bryony became principal Howard on the ship in January 2020 after Alicia Corrales-Connor left the cast early.
Both of them just finished their times on their ships, with Bryony finishing a couple weeks before and Liv's cast being shut down because of COVID. Bryony's cast lasted from Sept 2019 to March 2020, and Liv's cast lasted from Nov 2019 to March 2020.
@@haphazardtube8027 I think she was only announced fairly recently as the super swing to cover both town and tour but yeah she was on the cruise before.

Yeah they explained she would be switching and Liv would be Seymour.
I am really surprised that they just switched Hana from Seymour to Parr. I'm guessing that Liv was better at Seymour than Parr and that's why they just had Hana switch instead of having Liv be Parr.
Yeah I don’t think Liv had been with them long, so she probably hadn’t rehearsed Parr as much of Seymour.

There was a 15 minute or so break after DLYH ended while they rejigged things and then it picked up right where it left off.

Their costumes are not very defining to which character they are as the other ones. I personally would’ve loved see them in the other costumes.

Do you mean the black one with leather shorts? She came on mid show to make her debut, and I think it was earlier than expected so her costume wasn’t ready yet!

Danielle had an issue so she went off just before Don’t Lose Ur Head. She put on Instagram afterwards that she was struggling with anxiety :(
