Gabrielle Slade (costume designer for Six) did the costumes here, as opposed to Bob Mackie who did the costumes for the Broadway production.

Well a running joke in the show is that they are goddess warrior babes so I think that’s what they ran with (maybe they wanted to try something new instead of the classic bob mackie style)

Just the finale. Can only assume it wasn’t their decision though. It’s a very odd choice whoever made it!

@@jennys4562 ah ok! They stopped the show just after Don’t Lose Ur Head. Some guy came out, said they would have to stop for a little bit, then 20 minutes or so later it started back up with Hana as Parr and Liv as Seymour 😊

Well, this isn't the Broadway cast so of course they're going to be doing their own thing. Learn to respect others' portrayals of characters instead of pitting them against one another.

@@OperaGhost97 this isn’t about respecting others portrayals of characters... it’s understandable if they were casted to play a fictional character but they weren’t. They were casted to play a extremely skinny, light skinned, tall woman. And they for Sonny, he is supposed to be short and they casted someone who is taller than all three of the women playing Cher. I never said they aren’t good. They sing beautifully however they don’t look the part! In this day in age I understand inclusivity however this is the business; if you don’t look like the character being portrayed, you don’t play the part.

You know, I’ll let you have your opinion but omg they were MADE for Cher! They genuinely both blew me away with their talents. They just portrayed cher SO well

@@samanthacastaldo2845 ironically cher is technically mixed race… her dad is Armenian and her mum American. Both actresses being mixed race probably gives them more understanding for the prejudice cher faced when she was growing up for “looking different”. Personally I think they look the part, they sound and act the part too. I couldn’t think of a better 3 to do the job. I can’t wait til you hear about the first cover babe 😳 you’ll probably cry because she doesn’t match your description of Cher 😘

@@Finjen22 I couldn’t agree more with you that they definitely sound like Cher. Their voices are amazing and I am so glad they blew you away and you enjoyed the show! I know Cher is mixed race and I understand your point. However this is the business of theatre. People are casted to play roles based on if they sound like the character and look like the character. I understand this new age is wanting to do the whole “body positive/inclusivity to all” thing however that doesn’t work when your casting someone to play a REAL PERSON! cast whoever for a made up character but if your casting Cher, they need to look like Cher. They aren’t going to cast a white person to play Tina turner even if she sounds just like her ya know?

It’s insanely good. The cast are perfect. I half wish it was in London, and half glad it’s not of it would take all my money 😂

So good! The cast just made me even more excited for it, which is saying something when I’ve not been more excited for a show in my life! They do, Star says “Get your phones out bitches” when you’re allowed to film. Like the last six minutes you can film, which is mostly all of this video.

Such a good show, and an amazing atmosphere that night!

@@cymbelinesgf no, Courtney and Danielle's debuts were on the 500th show, so between that and now, there have only been 500 more shows. So to believe Six WE went through the Lyric Switch, the Vaudeville Switch, the Cast Change and plenty other things in only 500 shows is quote astonishing

@@KeepCalmContemplateYourChoices that makes a lot more sense, it's just that i thought when you'd said 2019-2022 meant the entirety of 2019. That's definitely strange though but covid has been a nightmare.

The alternates only wear their alt costumes for their 2nd and 3rd covers, which is why Roxanne (Howard) has her alt costume. The other two in them are from the tour where they still wear them all the time. I miss seeing the alt costumes all the time!

Yeah there were a few mistakes in the actual show, and you can definitely tell some are still nervous. You could definitely tell compared to Collette too! Was very very strange seeing her with a load of new queens though.

@@kirstyf I can tell, seeing her with them was weird. I remember seeing first megasix of tour with Vicky. I was like:'What?! The hell?!' Even though I knew she's coming 🤷‍♀️
