What bugs me the most is the fact that the Miami Dolphins organization continued to play this mans song without compensating him for all those years. He deserves some music royalty 💰 $$$$.
This song lives in my head rent free. Ever since I found the lyrics to the song I memorized it sang it and to see the original composer of this song finally gets his time to shine in the light #PhinsUp #MiamiDolphins #DWA #FinsUp #Dolfans
I never knew the Miami Dolphins had a fight song, let alone, it being the same song as the Houston Oilers' fight song. I guess I'm partial to the Oilers' version of the song, as that was the song I heard played first. I think it rolls off the tongue better too.
Most people would not know it, but this song has a striking similarity to a song in East Germany, "Jugend erwach". That similarity is very noticeable especially on the Houston Oilers version. I wonder if Ofman ever heard the other song.
The oilers ringtone might be better but Miami oh boy Miami is the one I rather have as my ringtone for my phone my nana used to love the dolphins 🐬 But one day I’ll play this music to my grandkids and they will love it go dophins 🐬🟠⚪️🟢🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻👑👑👑💍💍
It also broke up the original big 3. Csonka said that he, Warfield, and Kiick gave Robbie a chance to resign them when the WFL came a-courtin' but he balked. Shula was not happy
the ol miami dolphins, the 2nd football team, we take the ball from us to them like no one's ever seen, he's on the ground he's on the bench they're always in control, and when you say miami, you're talking buffalo!
Hey NFL Films, in the past I'd requested that you upload a segment you did on old Foxboro (Schaffer) stadium. But I've since found my VCR recording of that and I guess it was actually ESPN that produced it (though most likely in conjunction with you). So sorry about that. I still think you do a lot of things wrong and my interest in the league beyond the Patriots is at an all-time low. But I'm sure if you show me a few more 15-second close ups of a spiral going thru the air it will spark my interest anew.
@@alphaomega8373 Because they literally just replaced the team name, lol. And we've literally never been talking about the Houston Oilers and the Super Bowl unless it was "Well, the Oilers didn't make the Super Bowl again."

A "Dolfan Denny" sighting at 5:19 for those who remember him at the old Orange Bowl.
Just like how “My Country Tis of Thee” started off as “God Save The Queen”

Lee Ofman should be in Canton. That is all!
He Actually did a Dallas Cowboys song in 1971 that never caught on like the Miami and Houston one did
Do you happen to know what that song is called?
Thanks Tennessee
had no idea this was the oilers as well.
Houston/ Tennessee fans that actually thought they had it first 🤣🤣🤣 🐬🐬🐬
Must be TexGal Fan huh 😏
Houston have a problem
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is EXACTLY how Joe Theismann played in Washington DC and not Miami.
Joe Robbie was cheap.

Miami dolphins are going to be #2 tonight! SQUISH THE FISH!!! LETS GO BUFFALO!!!

🎶Miami Dolphins/Miami Dolphins/Miami Dolphins/No Super Bowl wins since the early 70s🎶
Some teams never won one
Not to mention what no other team has been able to do-go undefeated for a season including the playoffs.

Unfortunately they probably aren't gonna see your comments but the old Films content is some of the best sports content in the world. Go bills 😜
The Houston Oilers version is cringey though, because it's a rip off and inaccurate, lol.
Why is it cringey to you, unless you were the one ripped off.

@@pendragon2012 Yeah, I guess it's the ability to cringe from that I just can't conceive, nevermind it.
Was offered to the Oilers by the writer. No one was ripped off!!!!
Oilers had that tune first
Wrong
