In this clip, Project Pat discussed why he thinks there is constant tension in Memphis. According to Project Pat, Memphis is a city full of leaders and that leads to clashes. However, he said things haven't been as bad lately which could be a sign of a larger shift in the city.

Pat’s wisdom seems to come from his ability to think objectively and look at situations from everyone’s perspective. That helps you understand what the implications of your actions are and how that individual may perceive your actions. Makes you humble bc everyone is capable of EVERYTHING. Great interview Pat.

I loved living in Memphis. I moved there from Detroit as an teenager and it changed my life for the better. In terms of Gangsta stuff. They have some the most brutal people ever. You will not know this if you don’t cross them. Those same cats will be the most coolest people you’ll ever meet if you keep it a buck. Respect is huge there.

You have to stay out the way especially being a dude because to much back handed stuff be going on and dudes don't trust easily. Memphis is a good city and the vibes and the food and the Riverfront is very nice downtown. Memphis made me more aware about what is out here when or if I am in these streets of life. The lifestyle is different then most cities and you will learn there real quick about what is and what ain't. When I move I had to let my inner dog down lol I have calm down but still stay alert. I’m in the A. Been here since 05. Originally from Jville Fla and I have never seen anything like the A! Lived in different states and cities but Atlanta, a class of its own, with the comraderie and support that is.
Paul saying the dark side of Memphis is what makes Memphis cool is the mentality that's messed up.
I feel you, but if that’s the environment there can you blame them? If 3 6 wasn’t bon and raised in Memphis none of this type of music and sound would not be here today. I’m not saying the overall music, wave and sound is good… But some of the shining moments in our culture wouldn’t be prevalent.

I’m from St. L and actually LOVED Memphis Bar-B-Que better than ALL OF THEM (hands down) while I was there. But I was eating @Rendezvous and the locals laughed and said “that shit commercial” but they had some good dry rub ribs thought. (Nobody was able to tell me where to get the best ribs in Memphis when I stayed down there)
