ooohhhh Porky's! I was only 4, but I remember in 3rd grade, all the cool kids snuck behind our parents, and watched Porky's or Beverly Hills Cop...or Eddie Murphy Raw...Porky's, to us, was like the holy grail of grown up movies. I don't care for the movie that much, to be truthful.
Aaagggh! I learned how to drive in my mom's 1982 bronze-y brown Mazda GLC! LOL at that CHiPs commercial. That guy in the Wrangler ad was stachin' AND pimpin'! My dad used to shop at Builder's Emporium all the time. I always loved how Ricardo Montelban said, "Corrr-doh-BAH." That sexy accent! Those fold-out "leisure loungers" (in the Wickes Furniture commercial) were the crappiest excuse for a chair when they weren't being used to lounge. They would totally sag under an average person's weight!
My first time, was on a waterbed of that last bedroom set on the wicks commercial...the one with the platform bed and dresser/mirror combo...of course, by that time, it was a 19 yr old hand me down from my BF at the time's, cousin.
There wasn’t a PG-13 rating until 1984. A movie had to be extremely violent and contain a lot of cursing/nudity to achieve an R rating before the PG-13 rating existed.
Roy was the scare crow in Wizard of Oz, right? Only Dr. Pepper I enjoy, is the diet cherry Dr. Pepper. regular kind just wreaks havoc on m digestive system. Too fizzy
Boy I remember that Death Trap commercial! Rubix Cubes were HUGE in my grade school. It was a clever advertising ploy.
Thank you, once again, for the upload!
That's actor Joseph Campanella in the NAPA commercial. He's 85 now.
I just wanted to say how much I enjoy your channel and I eagerly await every new upload. Thank you.
French cowboys and epic jingles. The 80s ruled
so this was on a saturday during saturday night live! awesome!!
Those lucky kids (in the Dr. Pepper commercial) got to dance with The Scarecrow himself!
Thank you for another great upload.
Especially love the old automobile ads.
Excellent commercials
I miss when commercials had true jingles.
The Rubik's Cube was a novel thing in the 1980s.
I can only hope you never ever stop uploading these until every commercial aired in the 80s is accounted for

Damn, if I was 14 years older in '82, I might have wanted a Dodge Rampage, :P , now I just have my stinking '96 GMC Yukon. :P.
I know the music for commercials back then were kinda corny but I love that.. I miss that stuff...
I could not stop laughing at the dodge rampage...
I miss chocolate Velaments. I can't find peach jolly ranchers anymore either.
Best channel on youtube
Dodge Rampage FTW!
Wow, those Dr. Pepper bottles were huge! Not today...
And in glass bottles too.
LOL at Danny Bonaduce as a thug fighting Ponch on CHiPs.
SUPER!

I hate the new Fiat ad campaign and I LOVE this 80s one!
whats with the rubiks cube in the deathtrap commercial?
I could only remember a coiuple of the commercials that were shown
5:22 Bonaduce alert!
The entire promo for “Deathtrap” makes it sound like a violent thriller then at the end “Rated PG” WTF?

8:19 - Geez, that Toyota Guy was on the WEST COAST too? XD
Sure, he was annoying, but he was the right kind. Sorta like that Crazy Eddie guy! :D
Porky's was so much better than American Pie!
Roy was the scare crow in Wizard of Oz, right? Only Dr. Pepper I enjoy, is the diet cherry Dr. Pepper. regular kind just wreaks havoc on m digestive system. Too fizzy
French cowboys are a thing?
and RAY BOLGER... looks after RAY BOLGER!
Didn't care much for Porky's though. It had Animal House's raunch but none of the humor.
