Prior to ServiceNow, John was CEO of eBay for more than seven years, where he succeeded Meg Whitman and grew the company to over a $70 billion market cap. He has served or serves on the boards of Intel, Nike, PayPal, Dartmouth College, and various other organizations. John is one of the most inspirational leaders in Silicon Valley. He is a highly sought-after mentor to CEOs including Brian Chesky, CEO at Airbnb.

    You don't know what a designer does at Google because Material Design is already done? :)) It's also 7 years old, long overdue for a refresh IMO. But really most of Google designers are interaction designers not graphic designers, and as long as that highly successful company continues to buy & create new products for humans to use, and keep or grow their market share they will need IX designers to ensure competitive usability, stickiness, and high engagement. Not something as important for enterprise software, they aren't selling their products to end users but rather tech and business leaders with the budgets. Employees actually don't care much about branding for their day-to-day work tools, that's a misconception, what's more critical to keeping them productive with the software provided to them is mainly ease-of-use and delight factors.
