You can tell Martha has been teaching for years. She teaches very simply, very much to the point, and covers every bullet point of how to do this cheese cake in an accurate manner. You know she is able to teach the most unskilled person how to bake the most difficult recipe, with ease. This is how skilled this woman really is when it comes to cooking and baking.
I love Martha Stewart. She talks elegantly and clearly, and recipes are easy to understand. My cheesecake is baking. Can anyone answer my question? Do I remove from oven and rest it on the countertop? When to refrigerate?
Thank you once again for making a simple, easy delicious recipe that doesn`t require ridiculously hard to find or expensive ingredients or makes enough for 200 reasonable adult sized appetites. This is just right for my dinner party of 12.
Someone said the hardest part of making a cheesecake is waiting for it to chill thoroughly. I have found that the really hard part is preventing the cheesecake from cracking while baking. The best way to avoid this highly annoying problem is to make absolutely certain the batter is completely mixed, meaning that there are no clumps of ingredients in the batter, no air pockets, nothing but homogeneous filling. So, my advice is always to scrape your mixing bowl thoroughly, multiple times throughout the mixing process. Add an egg, mix, stop your mixer and scrape. Add another egg, mix, stop, scrape, etc. Taking this extra precaution will save you any disappointment. I know. I've neglected to mix and scrape thoroughly in the past and ended up with beautiful but cracked cheesecakes.
Thank You Martha, I'm trying this. Your Wonderful ! Again I Thank You For Sharing, You Explain Every Step, You Are A Inspiration ,Your Such A Beautiful And Gracious Teacher . Thank You ,I'm So Grateful .💜Theresa ❤
The hardest part of making a cheesecake is waiting for it to refrigerate 🤣😅 I’m impatient but it’s so worth the wait!! Very easy to make, but looks elegant 😊
Also to prevent cracking I read to butter the sides of the pan I'm going to try this they say as it cooks it expands as it cools it retreats so if it's stick to the side it can cause it to crack.
I never use like pumpkin any thing so one day I so a pumpkin cake for sale for one dollar and 50 cents i said I will try and I was hooked I had to bake pumpkin cake because I wanted more and it was expensive I made my own pumpkin cake I am going to try the pumpkin late this fall at caribou coffee I love pumpkin I am here for the lesson
Mine isn't turning out right. I think I put too much cheesecake batter into the pumpkin, I had way too much pumpkin mix and couldn't swirl it in. It was more of a layer of cheesecake with a layer of pumpkin cheesecake. That probably wouldn't have ruined it but then I put too much water into the pan and you guessed it, it went right over the reynolds wrap and invaded my spring form. I guess I'll see how it works out after baking..... Lol cheesecake soup....
I understand the fact that tomorrow isn't promised to anyone, but investing today is a hard thing to do because I have no idea of how and where to invest in?
This is not terribly interesting in fact it is Dullsville personified. The spices are far too simple to create a pumpkin spice flavor nor does the color pop. I prefer full pumpkin cheesecakes with the regalia of nutmeg, ginger, cloves, allspice and cinnamon being added to something like this. I think adding orange extract to the plain part of the cheesecake then with some orange food coloring and a stronger dose of spices to the swirl... would make this a more festive and successful treat. It also would be better using a 40/60 ratio of swirl to base batter and adjusting the pumpkin accordingly.

I love how short and concise Martha's tutorials are.
Most youtubers would make a video at least 10 minutes just to cover the same process.

This looks great. However, I would not use a Bain Marie; cheesecake bakes perfectly well just in the oven.

Unfortunately, this didn't turn out great for me. Followed the exact instructions but my cheesecake was more of a pudding than a cheesecake :(
Why haven't you fixed the sound on all the videos on here yet because when I share them with all of my friends they won't hear anything either
The reality of the rich and the poor is this: the rich invest their money and spend what is left. The poor spend their money and invest what is left

Do you really feel good now telling us all of that in the comment section of a Martha Stewart video

Rofl: "best quality vanilla" @martha that would be REAL vanilla 😂
She’s referring to the “brand” of vanilla
😋
