I wanted to ask where I’d you get the cape and harness she is wearing in this video because I love it! And I wouldn’t mind purchasing one for my diabetic alert dog to wear!
Your walking just fine to me and getting on rides fine to me you don’t need a wheelchair or a dog the both if you make me sick I’m gonna let your fake a service dog nothing gonna happen to you.
@@minniemouse3123 have you heard of mental illness? And it’s bc she has EDS meaning it just hurts a lot to walk or stand so to you know NOT have pain she uses a wheelchair. She uses a dog to mitigate her physical and mental illness which if you were too stupid to understand is invisible so your eyes can’t see them. Was that enough lil’ girl?
These videos are so helpful for me! I’m planning on taking my service mini horse to Disney and I’m super nervous. This definitely helps knowing what to expect
I love watching service dog content but the problem is that my dog here’s words like “sit” coming from my phone and then he sits🥺. I have to watch them with headphones in lol
We are in the beginning process of getting my medically complex daughter a blood sugar alert and mobility service dog so i am showing her your videos to try and get her to understand the concept . She is only 2. We both are really enjoying all your videos!
hiya there! I realize this was posted months ago but, i had a question as i am curious and i am bringing my service dog there for the first time and was wondering they allow your service dog in the disability lane now? how do you work that out? thank you! also your dog is sooo cute!!!!!
Hello! So im currently consider taking my sdit to Disney. By then he'll have 7/8 months of PA training. Would you recommend I take him? Anything in particular I should really work on? From your videos thus far I definitely need to strengthen his leave it. Thank you!!
hey! good to hear he’s got that much PA under his belt, that’ll certainly help! i’d say a leave it is SUPER important! there are distractions everywhere. people, food, music, animals, etc etc. a strong leave it is probably the most important thing in my experience and our most used command! a good settle is great too esp so they can get some rest throughout the day. definitely want them to be comfortable with a crate if you plan to go on bigger rides, and a good tuck/settle if you plan to have them go on any rides!
my biggest advice is take it slow! all dogs react different to a place like disney. ridley has been going since she was 6mo, so she’s a pro but she didn’t start that way! it’s a big loud scary place so really listen to them and let them take their time. i started off by just going to downtown disney (CA) and making sure she was calm and doing ok before entering the park. if i didn’t feel she was ready, i was prepared to leave. don’t force yourself to stay if it’s not going well, you’ll regret it. listen to your pup and set them up for success! start small and work up to the bigger stuff
How much does it cost to rent wheelchairs there? I tried looking it up and it said a bunch of different prices and I’m planning on going next month and am gonna need to rent a wheelchair
I noticed in some of the shot that Ridley's tail looks purple. Is this because of the light and angle? It's not all the time but when they were playing in the field before you left I saw it and thought I'd ask what is causing this.
hey, her tail is dyed pink! we’ve dyed it for over a year now and it’s not always super noticeable but its a lot more vibrant when it’s freshly done. it’s done with a vegan, pet safe dye
@@Dzante22 those dogs are amazing at what they do but because of that they are usually not good with other dogs. And they don’t need to be good with other dogs.
charisma dyed it, idk why but it’s most likely as a noticeable feature. because service dogs are so well behaved and trained they’re sometimes targets to steal so having a distinguishing feature (like dyed fur) can make them less of a target and easier to find if they are stolen. charisma has said that it’s vegan, cruelty free and pet safe!!
Also service dogs should not be allowed in Disney in my opinion unless you are blind or autistic or have ptsd, you people with service dogs without that disability get in the way and are nasty and rude to others who have disabilities who may not understand. You just want to cut lines and have your dog pick up for you.
good thing you don’t make the laws then bc blindness, autism and PTSD aren’t the only disabilities. you also have no idea what conditions we have, bc shocker we both have some of the ones you listed 💀 also, you HAVE to be disabled to have a service dog dude… that’s the whole point. no disability? then it’s not a service dog.
What ptsd learn to manage it unless you were at war you have no excuse to use a service animal I have ptsd and other disabilities to and I manage just fine go take your medication girl or get some therapy.
A child who has autism you people have no right to tell that child or autistic adult not to pet the dog they could pet it if they want to there is no need to make them cry you people make them cry and unless the dog bites which your usless dog would never do just let people pet him a dog is a dog.
@@minniemouse3123 people get PTSD from far more things than war. medication is not a cure all for all disabilities. chronic illnesses are chronic BECAUSE they have no cure. if you wanna spend your life trying to cure our disabilities, which im sure you couldn’t even spell let alone pronounce, go for it. lmk when u find a med that’ll fix me and i’ll gladly get rid of the highly trained dog that does it :)

It’s awesome that they warned you but it concerns me they have unfriendly security dogs there with so many handlers who go😢😢stay safe
thankfully they gave us tons of space anytime we came across them, which is nice! it is a bummer but i’m glad they are respectful towards Sd handlers!
It is because they are trained to attack intruders and if someone pulls a gun they can attack
