It's about being open minded and realizing the more taboo soemthing is, the easier the shock, and then laughter comes. Remember laughter gets born from a misunderstanding in the brain or a shock. The difference is theirs a relief with laughter, which is why it makes you feel good. He's really just a genius that is using an easier method to get to the "shocking" punchline. You guys talk about how weird his mind is, but your not in danger, it's just weird and shocking how his mind can do that.

Anthony Jeselnik is a comedic conundrum, when it comes to my sense of humor. Like, I can admit that the jokes themselves are funny, but there's just something about his delivery that always throws off the experience, for me.
Like, i can picture Steven Wright, Gilbert Godfrey, hell, even Dane Cook saying these jokes and thats when i find it funny.
Idk. I can only assume this is how people felt about Dane Cook, before the "joke thief" controversy🤷🏾♂️

I'm sorry, but if you've heard his "B&E" joke (still one of my favorite bits, to this day) and didn't get at least one huge laugh out of it, then I can only assume you just can't stand him at all, like as a person.

I just cant get enough of jeselnik. The way he speaks in such a slow cadence and lets the audience guess along at what the punchline will be. Then he hides the punchline somewhere in the sentence, you're never sure where its gonna go. Its like a tiny twist ending in a tiny movie. A tiny, sick, depraved movie.
all of his jokes rely on absurd misdirection. If you're always expecting it it doesn't have the same effect
But with him you expect the misdirection. Which direction hes going is the question. Nothing predictable about it. You kniw something is coming but it still so far out of left that it hits like a freight train.

I don’t know what’s going on here... he is so not relatable a his premises are 100% fake, it’s like all fictional. Not really funny. Some jokes are so morbid that really cracked me up, can’t lie.
