Ya ALLAH ( s.w.t ) put the beautifull cars Mark in Pakistan inshallah
Keeping the gear at "D" is the safest choice as the car senses the accelerator position and responds accordingly. Even in hilly areas, "D" makes your car more responsive (my personal experience). Secondly, if your car is in "N" especially at the signal then press brake before shifting to "D" to ensure safety.
What's the roke of "S" why n when we need to drive on " S" ?

I think the fuel efficiency depends on rpm and the rpm goes down when you put the gear in N. And the gear does not go to R or P unless you don't push the button on the gear leaver.
Yes.
The lower the RPM the lower the cranlshaft revolutins meaning it needs less fuel to lubricate and make the car go faster.
Meanwhile in higher RPMs the crankshaft is revolutionizing more so it needs more fuel to lubricate and provide the power to the wheels.

One important information you missed completely
Once you need to park the car, shift the gear from D to N, apply hand brake and then shift to P, this would ensure that stopping load is on brakes and not on gear lock ..

Totally agree. You should also engage parking break first before throwing the gear lever into 1st gear in manual transmission car while parking.
Bohat achi info. Bas aik baat k gari D, N, P, S mey convert nahi hoti, uski transmission shift hoti hai. Convert sirf convertible car hoti hai baghair roof wali car mey.

O/D [ over drive] k bare me kuch bataye
its not just automatic transmission, this particular transmission of Honda Civic is CVT, which do not have fixed no of gears, or you may call it infinite no of gears.
some other auto transmissions are follow:
1. conventional automatic transmission
2. CVT ( continuously variable Transmission )
3. DCT ( Dual clutch transmission )
4. DSG ( Direct shift gearbox )
5. Triprotic transmission .
How to use different gear like D1 ,D2,D3 etc,

D1 d2 d3 you can use that time you’re on top mountain and you want to come down
D1, D2, D3 are lower gears. They are used when you are driving on a hill. D3 is 3rd gear, D2 is 2nd gear, D1 is 1st. In some cars it is also L or L1, L2.
The lower gear better off road and driving in an ascend amd descend experience but it uses more fuel, and if it is not used properly it can probably damage enginge or transmission (not sure).

Plz do review of corolla altis 1.6 SR cruise control automatic transmission 2013 model
During stoppages on signals putting GEAR lever at NEUTRAL" N" & applying e-brakes or hand brakes lifts off pressure from brake pads n reduces wear n tear of brake pads n also keeps ABS in shipshape condition... Keeping GEAR lever in " D" AT signals continues to exert force/ torque which is neutralized with braking, in turn it generate heat within brakes gradually demaging/ degrading the brakes/ pads.... However, bringing back to D mode one must put foot on brakes MEANS COMPLETE halt, even if car is in HAND BRAKE mode to smoothly transfer power to wheels......

S Gear means 2 gear mentioned in some other automatic cars
And also the mode S actually locks your transmission upto certain speed only. Lets assume its like 2nd gear. You push the accelerator in S and car’s speed will remain under certain speed only. It will not increase further and RPMs will stay high too.
Hence you can only shift from D to S & S to D at slow speeds only, say upto 40 km/h speed only. Don’t shift it into S when speed is over 40. Otherwise behavior of the RPM’s will be self-explanatory. Haven’t you ever noticed that why it immediately increase the RPMs when you shift the Car from D to S over 40 speeds?

1..Gear oil kabhi bhi change nhi karwana warna aap ka gear box khrab ho jay ga mai dubai me 6 saal se gari chala raha hu mai ny ik baar gear oil change krwaya tha to theek 5 se 6 mah baad gear box kharb hogeya.

General rules for setting gear position while stopping an A/T car:
1. Red traffic light (up to 2 minutes): Gear in D position with parking brake engaged
2. Longer stops e.g. stuck in worst traffic jam or waiting for some reason with engine idling: Gear in N position with parking brake engaged
3. Parking or stopping on up/downhill for longer period: Gear in P position with parking brake engaged
Can we engage parking brake in D position?
@@miqdadraza6725 yeah sure, just DON'T leave the car with gear in D position, always jam it into N (with parking brake engaged) or P whenever you leave the car even for a second.
@@sultank5244 Then your 1st point is wrong. Parking brakes should not be used with gear in D position.
