That’s correct , she’s not Australian. She’s actually a kiwi since she was born in New Zealand who lived in Australia most of her life and is of Korean descent.

Rosé was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia. Jennie went to school in New Zealand and Lisa is from Thailand. The only one who isn’t near fluent in english is Jisoo but she understands it, just isn’t comfortable in speaking it.

The girls of Blackpink are very talented, but unfortunately their company is known for having a horrible management with their artists and having a lot of favoritism with some groups, the girls take the brunt because they are very sexist too, and the company makes more money if it puts them to work as models than if it gives them a new comeback.
Pd: You should react to MAMAMOO too, they are extremely talented and they manage everything, they compose the songs, create their dances, choose their own costumes and direct their MV.
They also have some of the best voices in kpop and are very popular and well known in Korea.

Fun fact, Jennie, Rosé are actually fluent in English. Lisa is practically fluent, she understands most of the conversations and can mostly reply back.
Edit: And you have to pronounce Rosé not as ''Rose''. You have to put the tone on the last ''e'' so more like Rose-ay. And Jisoo more like G-soo.

So 3 of them speak english fluently - Rose, Jennie and Lisa. Jisoo is learning it still but can understand parts of it. Rose actually grew up in Australia, Jennie studied in New Zealand so they both speak with accents but sound almost native. Lisa is from Thailand so she speaks thai, korean and english fluently and also can speak japanese and chinese as well. You should check out *Blackpink's Guide 2019*
The concept of Rosé and Jisoo’s parts are that they are killing their weaker selves. Rose ran over her weaker lovestruck self with a car and Jisoo shot a flaming arrow at her weaker self. Just beautiful 🔥❤️

Actually their agency "YG" simply promises comebacks but is always postponing, they basically have only one comeback each year and as I said the agency promises too much, at the beginning of last year YG said that that year the girls would have two comebacks and a complete album (because they debuted almost 4 years ago and still have none) and also promised that all the missing members' solo songs would all be released (Jennie already released her solo "Solo" haha in 2018, but the other members did not) , basically we reached the end of 2019 and they just released a comeback together with a mini album, the Blinks have always expressed their discontent as the way they are treated in the company (because apart from all that they are treated badly in many other ways) and this year was no different since as you saw Blinks uploaded a hashtag on twitter a few days ago because they were doing exactly 1 year since their last comeback with Kill This Love, which is ridiculous..
well, that promise of YG about BP having a second comeback wasnt real, it was fake rumours spread by a news website (probably to try get more recognition using BP and YG name. It would be impossible since they were touring until july, then had a lot of work with their sponsors and in the end of the year until 22 of february of this year they went back to the tour (also some fans asked for them to stop touring and make music but i feel that it is really unfair and childish of them, the fans that went to those last shows have the right to see them as well)
The rest i understand most of the things, except 1:
treatment =/= management.
1st i wouldnt ague if you say they could release more songs but they dont (but we also dont know what happens inside the company so not really our position to start doing movements)
bad treatment could be different things, like if they didnt paid them as they pay others (acording a few researches BP members are some of the richest of YG only being behind Dara and BigBang members) also when compared to other companies YG alongside with JYP are the ones that pay more to their artists, some points YG pays more, others is JYP but most of the things is the same (some of those research also put BigHit but not all of them)
2nd they give them good conditions (and live style)
3rd other example would be if they didnt let them do any work, which they do, always working on projects from their sponsors (both individual or as a group)
even in management i would only say the comeback part, the rest they do it right, just look where BP is, part of it is because f the company, they do deserve part of the credit.
dont take this as hate or arguing, really just want to point out and give a different perspective of some things in the comment.

They are good at english because two of the members (Jennie and Rosè) used to live in New Zealand and Australia. While Lisa is from Thailand so she's also good at english since she has to communicate with the members in english before she learned korean. Jisoo is the only one born and raised in Korea but her english is actually pretty good too :) Sorry for my english btw.

They're a girl group and they deserve more recognition. Sammy, please react to Tomorrow by Together (TXT)!! They are so good and very versatile with their music and their lyrics and story is beautiful as well! 💙💙 and another girl group if you’re interested - CLC. They had a comeback last year called NO and it was definitely so good!! 🔥🔥
If you're looking to explore more groups I highly recommend two pretty underrated groups called VIXX and Dreamcatcher!
For VIXX I recommend Error, G.R.8.U, Voodoo Doll, and Fantasy since I know you are knowledgeable and I think you said majoring in film and directing! All of them have amazing editing and the choreo is so great! Make sure you react to the 19+ version of Voodoo Doll though for the best experience.
EDIT: Also wanted to add that they were labled as "The Kings of Concepts" by a media outlet and I find it to be extremely true as they incorporate their concept for the song into every aspect of it including the choreography, outfits, lyrics, set designs for live stages, and any props they may use!
and Dreamcatcher is a very underrated girl group who does darker concepts and all of their songs have a rock genre aspect in their songs! For them MV wise I recommend Deja Vu, Piri, and their newest song Scream! Their music videos are always so gorgeous and well filmed! I hope you see this!
