The thing with the line was a maknae line. "Maknae" means the youngest and Lisa and Rose are the youngest of the group. Hope I could help!

Blackpink is probably one of the most English speaking groups and this combined with their cool style makes them very western friendly and accessible. 3/4 members are fluent in English. Rose was born in New Zeland and grew up in Australia giving her an adorable Aussie accent which was on full show here lol, Jenny is Korean but lived and studied in New Zealand for 5 years when she was young, Ino it didn't show in this video but you can find clips where she has a really strong New Zealand accent when talking English, Lisa is Thai with a Swiss father (although I can't place her accent when she talks English) and Jisoo is the only none English speaker (but she tries her hardest)!

Fun fact: when jennie was a trainee in YG, she was training to be a vocalist but then YG and other mentors noticed that she can speak english faster than other trainees so they decided to make jennie a rapper so told her to practice rapping since then. Now she's a machine gun. 😂

Lol have you seen the vid where she was rapping? I don't think she was trained to be a vocalist but she does have strong vocals predebut til now. Lisa is also a trained vocalist but soon switched to rapping due to lack of rappers in the group.

She was born in New Zealand and after 8 years she moved to Australia, she lived there 8 years as well and then went to Korea and you know the rest of the story.

I'm INSANELY late but I just wanted to tell you that Rose never said English was her first language. Korean is. Her parents spoke to her in Korean and she only spoke Korean at home until she was like 4 or 5 (Whenever they start school in NZ) So, even thought Rose spoke English at a very young age, Korean is still technically her first language (She's said this before)

Jennie has kiwi accent but sometimes she sounds more british and sometimes she just mixing it with American accent as well.
Rosie and Lisa get along really well mostly because they are of the same age and also because they know the struggle and hardship of having to leave behind their home countries to pursue their dreams. Lisa was born in Thailand and has a Swiss step-father, where she was able to learn English. Rose was born in New Zealand but moved to Australia. Both Jennie and Jisoo were born in Korea, whereas Jennie moved to New Zealand for a few years and came back to Korea to be a singer.
They have their own reality show... namely ‘blackpink house’ and ‘blackpink diaries’ you can watch them on youtube... its really fun to watch... enjoy, exploring Blackpink 😘
