3:27 The proper and definitive version of the OG Star Tours will always be within my childhood memory... *Just before Star Tours: The Adventure Continues...* But, why the 'ell is there a Third Death Star?!?
Cool, another compilation of commercials from Nor~Cal(I've never been to Nor~Cal, would love to check it out one day). Close to an hour and a half of Retro Goodness, a big thank you to the Retro Commercial Guru that is Dave's Archives
It's cute Atari thought quantity trumped quality. I'm just going to guess most people only needed one look at NES games to make their choice between the NES and any home console that preceded it. I don't know why it's so interesting to me to see what cereals do and likely don't still exist.
Thanks for the reminder about Anne Murray, I remember around 1990, when I was about 6 years old, I went with my mom to the stereo store to get the good CD/tape player stereo thing repaired and I said something to the man working there about an Anne Murray CD player was left in there, and he said aren't you a little young to be listening to Anne Murray? I am pretty sure it was an Anne Murray CD. I wasn't listening to it, I was more into the hallmark spooky sounds tape for real
I appreciate the Easy Spirit "Shock Blocker" shoes because it reminds me of a song I misheard the lyrics to, I heard "shocker blocker," thinking maybe it's like the shocker hand gesture I thought was so funny (just joking around nobody actually does that?!) when I was younger. The lyrics were actually "A lot of ice around my heart, it's a chakra blocker"
Thank you, Dave! We needed this now more than ever!
YASSSSSS!!!!!!!!! I’m glad this is back!!!
Thank you retro godfather!

Those Taco Bell ads at the start are batshit crazy.
Thanks for the trip down memory lane! I remember some of those ads!
OMG I was just telling my coworkers about Ole Frijole. I live in the PNW now but grew up in Sacratomato. Miss those days.
Someone build me a time machine
