Large parts of Arizona get first taste of monsoon 2020, but Phoenix stays dry

I went on a tour in Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon and we got rained and hailed on and there were reports of a tornado in the area. I thought I was about to die.

I live in Glendale AZ and it never rains here. It’s pretty unpredictable though. It rained here a couple of days ago and lightning hit the golf course near our backyard. First time that ever happened lmao

Come to Glasgow, Scotland, it never stops raining here although, tomorrow, summer is here but, for one day only with a top temp of 26C. After that, its back to yet more rain.
