This is crazy. Just read up on the first story, a boy called Paul and a woman called Paula have indeed gone missing in the forest.
I've camped at Crystal Lake in Colorado before and man alive IT WAS SPOOKY! Of course mt mom and dad fell asleep REALLY fast but I have a HUGE fear of the dark and since I have contacts and take them out at night I can't see ANYTHING. Well we camped there for about 4 nights and 5 days and the whole time I felt like something was watching me. We woke up to rocks being stacked in neat little piles of three rocks perfectly balanced around the tent. My dad shrugged it off as local kids playing a prank. There was rocks thrown at us and a bad smell around the campground all of which my dad yet again thought the kids were playing a prank. Yeah it was a weird camping trip
Rocks being stacked is actually a pagan ritual.
the stories with missing people never to be found again really got me in my feels 😞 if people made them up shame on them, because here i am crying over people never making it out of the forest those night's... if you wrote one of the stories & see this comment, please write me... & thanks mr. darkness, another great video!🖤
The Bennington Triangle(VT) story is true. I live here, just over in Brattleboro, it's common knowledge not to wear bright colors or make loud noises in the woods

Darkness we both have the same Favourite Cryptid the Werewolf I think they deserve more Movies than they have and Van Helsing (2004) was a good Movie it has the Best looking Werewolves in my opinion
Last time I went camping, me and two of my friends crammed into one bed because the other bedroom was haunted and none of us wanted to sleep in there
You find out who is a true friend when danger surrounds you. Dude left his friend and had a gun, really! So, him saying don't go in the woods without a weapon means nothing when the person with the gun is a coward because they both had weapons and didn't even use them, why? I would have put bullets in the eyes, head, or throat all the soft tissue areas. Never shoot something like that in the chest or head on, always go for soft tissue spots. I wouldn't be able to sleep knowing I didn't even try to save my (so-called best bud), knowing that I didn't even try to shoot the damn creature. What a shame.
That Crystal Creek story sounds exactly like a skinwalker. The smell, the decay, the creature imitating a voice, all fits other skinwalker stories.

It depends on the acoustics. Obviously you shouldn't hear an echo in a dense thick forest. If you're surrounded by stone and cliffs it's an echo.

Did a little digging on the first story. The ghosts referred to are most likely indeed Paula Weldon and Paul Jephson as they both disappeared in the time frames given and the names. Although I couldn't find anything referencing Paula wearing red at the time of her disappearance and even the original author in a reddit post confirmed the same. The only reference to her attire was "hiking clothes". Not gonna say this person is full of it because things may have changed but I could find no reference to a missing person known as Diane in the Vermont state police database. In case the author changed the name of their friend I looked strictly for cases that were active missing persons in the timeframe they specified and gender and still came up empty. In fact as far as ongoing cases are concerned there is only 1 active case in Green Mountain National Forest and that's Paula's. It's possible that the case has either been closed or transferred to a different status ie, they've found her body and determined a cause of death, or the state police suspect foul play. But as far as a missing person goes I didn't find anything. And the state database has quite a lot of old cases dating all the way to Paula's case so they don't close cases due to their age.

I wouldn't be surprised if Paula was wearing red n the forest because red and black checks (plaid) were the colors hunters wore back in those days.

I've heard many tales about Glastonbury Mountain. Local Native Americans are refusing to ever set foot there and it's part of a spooky area called the "Bennington Triangle" They're lucky to just see ghosts and not disappear like so many others

I just love listening to the stories darkness with or without music just keep them coming.
Camping stories/stories that take place in forest are my favorite. I love listening to them because I find forest scary, but I also love forests and camping, the atmosphere is just the best. The only thing this video lacks are forest sounds or campfire sounds in the background, but that's just my personal preference since I just love the atmosphere those create
