There is a firered romhack called Pokemon Crown, and the entire game is an autochess styled pokemon game that takes place in a medieval world

assuming it's like other auto-chess games then some advice you didn't mention is: there's only a limited pool of every pokemon, so if someone else is going for your same type or pokemon, you may have a harder time finding what you need because they're picking it all up.
You can also check other people's boards to see not only what they have on field, but what they're hoarding. This can be used to make sure you're not unknowingly doubling up with someone else, but can also be used to sabotage someone else by hoarding specific pokemon you see that they need. once a person is knocked out, every pokemon they had reenters the pool which can either be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what you're looking for

Some points:
At the 12 min mark the comp you didn’t understand used the monster attribute.
In general to win the game you need three things:
1) A core synergy that you can get 8 or 9 mons on
2) A front line tank with tank items
3) A back line ranged carry with high damage
If you can nail those 3 things you will get 3rd place semi consistently. Getting higher places requires some understanding of the best meta picks in terms of specific items, specific mons, and the best general synergies to go for.
Also good to say that dittos can transform into other pokemon for you to evolve them, he had at least 4 dittos in his shop during the last battle and didnt got a single one, he could've evolved that houndoom or the numel with them

Games laggy and the devs are jerks they banned me for asking if there was a way to fix the lag. They said make your own game…..
because hundreds of your kind do the same thing. they get asked this question by the minute. the servers are overloaded due to this video and its not so easy to scale up the servers. maybe you should read the fricking announcements and fap befor you go complaining to a bunch of devs working on a passion project in their free time. it was never intended for these many people and they struggle. go figure

Cool! Even though its still an autochess game it sounds pretty different to Crown
It is definitely different from Crown. Pokemon Auto Chess is a more standard version of Auto Chess where our game is basically auto chess reimagined in an RPG format.
