Hey thanks for watching! I had a lot of fun and challenge to decide on my Top 5 budget RC list. Spots 1 thru 3 are almost a tossup and you can't go wrong. Ultimately cost, age, and performance out of the box was the criteria I used to slot them in what I thought was the top 5. Plus the top 3 best crawlers at this price point gives you some great options and trucks that can compete with the more expensive brands. I'd like to hear your thoughts or your top pick. Check the links I found the best deals I could find for each model in hopes if you are looking to grab one, getting the best bang for your buck. Black friday deals 2024 are starting to show up already and some of these might get better deals!
Great review but ýou missed the Basher Rocksta in the crawlers section I have 3 with the metal gears and upgraded wheels and tires that I have added weight to by putting bb,since the tires and new servos 😊
Hehehe Jim you love your Rocksta! I'll give credit it was pretty good when it came out. I dont think you can buy it anymore. Stock tires are junk! haha. You should come over sometime and run them on my crawler course. Thanks for dropping by!
Would like to get a chance to get a chance to play with my rc on your crawler course sometime will need to see if I can book the trip to your place with wheel trans as it would be long trip for my wheelchair 😅 would also love to get you to check out my wltoye stadium truck that I built with a full metal update and running on 4s it would be cool to see how fast it would be on your radar rig.
Very cool! Yeah I have that radar and I have one for measuring pitches in baseball and it's very accurate. But i need one person to drive the RC and the other to operate the Radar. We'll see what next year brings. I have a coworker who also did the full blue anodized metal upgrade to his WLtoys 1/16 truck. Those are cool. I still have my shortcourse truck in stock form. Don't use it very often but one of the first videos I made on this channel 8-9 years ago
