Hi - what are the dimensions/sizes of the post/tubing/bar? What is the height of the post from the floor to the top railing? What are the width from one post to the next post? Thanks
This is all local code specific. Less than 4" between horizontal pieces and 36" tall. The post spacing is whatever your material can support and maintain the 4" gap, generally 4 feet but varies.
Wow looks beautiful and modern! It seemed like only a few screws when into the staircase band and the rest went into just flooring, is that enough to make sure it’s stable and safe?
Nice job. I have something similar to do, but on laminate floor. I am not sure if metal railling should press down floor or it should remain floating under rail foots. Any sugestion? Thanks.
Passing this video to my husband who is going to make the wood handrail (also white oak) for our custom metal railing. Looks nice. Very nice work!
Awesome, good luck!

Looks amazing! If you don’t mind what is the dimensions of the oak cap (width hight) and the tubing for the cap? Love the clean proportion
1.5x3"
Love it! I would like little more wood running through this!
That would be cool!
Great looking railing and instal. What were the dimensions of the metal you used?
Thanks! 2" square tubing and .5" x 1.5" rectangle tubing
Did you use 1/8” thick steel for your horizontal bars, or something a little lighter?

I think he meant to say what particular material sizes did you choose? The flat stock for example. Is it ¹/⁴"x1"?
